@@PopplersMusic Josh, I consider myself an early beginner adult having just gone back (but really starting from scratch) over last year and this year. My instructor keeps encouraging me to tackle Don't Stop Me Know because I love the song and some of the UA-cam covers - but finding an arrangement that I can manage is the challenge. Also love the standards and the associated crooners.
@@Jim_Mundy This is great! Jim, I also love jazz standards. I have spent most of my time learning classical music but I have been learning jazz the last year (which is SO hard). Each genre of music is a different language and takes time to learn. Don't Stop Me Know is quite tough. Some songs are tough to translate to the beginner level. However, If you're learning how to chord, you could play the melody in the right hand and chord along to the melody for now. Eventually as you develop your skills you can add a more complex left hand? Just a thought! If I can ever be of help, please feel welcome to reach out to me! - Josh
