I'm loving your September intentions. I've had a hard summer health wise and I'm finally turning a corner. My intentions this Autumn are very similar to yours; slowing down, resting, taking in nature, eating good food, reading and drinking lots of tea and completing a jigsaw. I started Gilmore girls today. Last year it was the good witch. For me it's all about healing body and mind. X

Oh and my fall goals are:
- go to farmer’s markets as much as possible
- go on a weekend getaway to a cozy cabin once the leaves are orange/red
- watch Harry Potter (again) with hot chocolate or a butternut squash soup
- here in the US we have the turkey trot on thanksgiving which is basically a 5k run so I want to do it this year
- bake an apple pie for the first time
- find fall festivals around town and make a point to go to at least two
- minimally decorate my house but make it very cozy for fall 🥰
- continue building on all my August goals to turn them into lifetime habits (working out 4x/week, 3l of h2o, reading at least 10pages of my book every day, spending $200 or less on Amazon per week, call my parents 3x/week)

Okay I’m obsessed with your goals - I’m adding making soup to mine! Ngl i wish we did thanksgiving in the U.K. it looks like such a good holiday. But I’m tempted to do a bit of my own this year and then do my own turkey trot! 😂🤍🤍
I just got back from vacation last night. I woke up, unpacked/decorated my tiny apartment with all my fall decorations today! Making a list of my fall intentions and goals while watching this video. Such a perfect cozy video to match my cozy day before my return to the office tomorrow.
Favorite things in autumn to do:
Going to the local library and picking out a classic i haven’t read. (Not sure but I always feel like fall is the time for classic novels)
Walking to a cute meadow and playing with my dog
Having a dirty chai and playing my vinyls as I drink it!

Gilmore girls and gossip girl are the autumn tv at all times for me!

I live in country where Halloween is not celebrated and claims as “evil satanic day”,but I still absolutely love to buy pumpkin and carve it :) it’s absolutely my fav autumn tradition

I don’t know if this possible in your new house, but when my husband and I moved into our first home together 10 years ago, our living room had a gas fire. He disconnected it all, we got the chimney swept, and we’ve had a real fire ever since. Might be worth looking to see if you can do the same? You can’t beat a real fire 🔥. We’re also in Surrey btw 😊. And I’m also a new sub - love your channel 🥰
I am absolutely DESPERATE to swap it for a real fire - I agree, nothing like the real thing!! We’ll probably leave it this winter while we tackle some other bits and pieces in the house. But for next Christmas I think that’s such a fab idea! And so useful to know it worked for you guys. And thank you so much for the love 🥰❤️
