I’m 38 in February and with that big 40 knocking on the door I’m freaking out 😂 Like you I had been anxious before I’d turned 30 as there were things I’d planned to have ticked off which didn’t happen and as it got closer I somehow stopped worrying about it and actually my 30s have been the best, I finally found my soul mate and had a baby daughter and I love watching your videos. I know you’re looking forward to your summer of UA-cam but it’s actually nice and refreshing to see that you do actually have another job outside of UA-cam. I also live vicariously through you on your days into the office as it’s something I don’t do all that often now! Not sure why I’m waffling so much but Happy New Year !!

Gaining more financial skills is SO essential. I didnt start with that until 2020 and cringe at how much more saving I could have had if i started earlier. BUT its never too late to get started. I personally think everyone should invest in index funds inside their ISA's - set it & forget it. Happy New Year Everyone!

I’m a couple of decades older than you and must admit my career has not gone the way I thought it would (although, when examining this side of life I don’t think I ever had any definite plans of what I wanted to do) but from the brief viewing of your Channel it seems like you have so many options - setting up your own company, focusing on UA-cam, contracting occasionally etc. etc. I have spent the last 6 years building back from a very bad financial position and now know that having the flexibility to take time off when you want and to be able to examine where you want to be is such a fantastic feeling and believe you are the type of person that will make full use of the situation. My company that I had spent 8years with was bought out and January 31st of last year was my last day. I thought about starting a UA-cam channel but I still haven’t and I have another business that I started. I love your video and they are an inspiration, especially this one on planning and goals. Anyone that knows me knows that I am horrendous when it comes to planning and mostly wing situations and life in general. Not great when you have a husband and two children, so my plan this year is to change. I am going to start slowly and hope it becomes habit. I love travel and this is the only area I seem to plan, so going to extend that to days out and then go from there.
