Another fun DYI project! Thanks for sharing! I have a few more tools than this but breaking it down to the basics helps everyone for sure. I started making a diddly bow neck out of a 1" round dowel a few weeks ago and this video is inspiring me to finish it.
Thanks for checking it out. This could easily be enhanced by rounding the neck profile, more bracing, electronics, adding frets, etc but I think it's a good template for the basics.
Bravo, nice build! I love building diddley bows, they are just so fun and easy to construct. I have not tried the square dowel method you demonstrated yet, but I have a few ready to go. I dislocated my shoulder over a month ago and I can neither play or build CBG's for a while. Cheers.
