This is really handy for people like me who honestly didn't know whether to plug the monitor into the GPU or MB when you install a new graphics card. Thanks for looking after the noobs, we appreciate you.
I've never heard about Graphics card before not until I bought a set with a Graphics card in it. I don't know how to install but thanks to your video for a very well explanation.
So informative, and straight to the point. Can I ask, regarding the igpu which "used before" on what next to do after installing new dedicated gpu? Thanks:)
I installed the gpu correctly but it seems a little loose like easy to wiggle a little and seems like its sitting at an angle, does anyone know what could be the issue?
thats a good video show how to install a gpu, i saw someothers just teach where to plug in the gpu but skip all the wiring where to attach pcie cable and gpu driver
I NEED HELP YOU KNOW THE PLACE WHERE YOU HAVE TO UNSCREW THE SCREWS WELL MY CASE HAS NONE IT'S LIKE THEY ARE GLUED I JUST BOUGHT A GTX1050TI AND IDK WHAT TO DO I NEED HELP
This is a lot better video than the last one. I took your time and explained everything . Now I know what the extra cables are for . If you power supply doesn't have the optional connections they you cannot run this GPU . When you install the board and it boots up does it take you to the website to down load the drivers ? Or do you have to find the website and search for the drivers ? Is there anyway you can help me? I want to show the code I am getting when I go to down load shot cut but I cant get anybody to help me. I was thinking about getting MSI GT 710 GPU to upgrade my tower but I am not sure what I need ? Can you help me?
So the driver links are in the description as well, you just download either and or Nvidia (depending on your GPU brand). For the GT710 you will download the Nvidia driver and it will all update.
Also the gt710 doesn’t have any of those connectors so it’s super easy to plug into your motherboard. Just plug it into your motherboard and then turn the pc on and install the driver software mentioned and you should be good to go.
What I CANT figure out is my prebuilt PC I bought came with a AMD graphics card that is chord-less, doesn’t require PCI-E connector however, my other graphics card I’m gonna use has a PCI-E slot that needs to be connected yet I can’t seem to find the PCI-E chord to connect it to begin with. I can’t tell whether or not if there is even a chord in it! I’m a beginner since I barely bought my first prebuilt tower
so he said I only have 2 options with nvidia and AMD , which I have neither, I have a GIGABYTE so would i download my model of gpu and download the driver for that model from gigabyte or use a driver from nvidia and AMD just selecting the same gpu
I wanted a pc for 3 years and last Christmas i got it i build it all by myself and i didnt even watch a video while building it and did it all from the videos i watched before getting the pc and now my friend who has a pc for years and got a new gpu wants to pay someone to install it I am very disappointed
so i have a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6GB GDDR6 and want to upgrade to a nvidia 3070, 3080, or 3090. is that possible since they may be different sizes. i got my pc prebuilt
Hi there I just bought a used ASUS RX 460 4GB from someone who's not that computer savvy. For the most part it's working, but can't properly start up. I can see the extra monitor showing the booting up signal, but never properly ready to log into the computer. Do you know if this means I need to install a driver, and if so, any idea which one? Would provide a link to the graphics card I bought, but this stupid site censors external links in the comments section.
I believe Your main monitor should be plugged into the GPU. I’m not 100% positive on this tho since I’ve never tried it. Try unplugging the hdmi from your motherboard and see if it boots with the GPU.
@@BuildsWithV Alright tried this, and it worked! I was later able to plug both monitors into the new/used graphics card and do that expanded monitor thing. So it's all good now.
so already i have a new graphics card. now i will need a new power unit as mine dosent have the cabbles or slots and probably a new case assuming that doesn't fit the shitty pre built im trying too make work. if that happens i pray i can just drag the guts over too a new case. i cant afford a new mother board or cpu or hard drives.
yeah, you should always check if there is enough clearance before buying a graphics card typically graphics card manufacturers list the physical dimensions on their website
try pulling it straight up (don't use too much force), it shouldn't come out if clips are in locked position sometimes those things just don't click, even if you installed graphics card correctly
Make sure the hdmi cable you’re using is good and works, make sure the cable is plugged into your GPU and monitor, if your monitor has various inputs; make sure you select the proper input, make sure your GPU is properly plugged into your motherboard and make sure your power supply cables are properly plugged into your 8-pin gpu connector and into the PSU properly (if it’s modular). If none of that fixes the issue then it could be other issues like a bad GPU, drivers issues or something else.
Try to reseat the gpu in its slot on the motherboard if you haven’t already. When cleaning it can come out of the motherboard slightly. Also, do you have any red warning lights on the motherboard? Some motherboards have lights that correspond to which part of the boot is failing etc. If that doesn’t work then make sure all other cables are plugged into your motherboard properly, things can come loose when cleaning unfortunately. Also make sure your display ports are all plugged in fully.
@@BuildsWithV Thank you so much it's perfectly fine now glad you took the time to respond keep up the great work wish you all the best and stay consistent on your journey 😁👍

graphics card? I've never seen one of those mythical objects before..... well at least not in the last 2 years.

Can we still plug the HDMI cable into the GPU when the drivers hasn't been installed yet
Yea, the drivers install automatically initially but they will still need to be updated
