It never ceases to amaze me how you’re able to trim off just the right amount, without going all the way through!

I love how you keep your tools so organized! Usually when I woodwork I start organized but then blow up my workbench 😅 I always clean up really well though

Those ceramic ribbons come out so thick that they make me worry your piece is going to be too thin! Then I remember you are the expert and I calm down lol
    Thanks for sharing!

With pottery being your full time profession, I am curious what kind stuff would you craft just for fun and not for selling it. Would love to see such a collection or you making them yourself!

Well, my ethos is that I try to make the pots that I imagine myself using, and living with, at home. That being said, I often make myself very simple plated and cups and things, glazed with a mirror black tenmoku glaze.

@@floriangadsby Aha an austere man indeed. Then I suppose you get to do your most favourite things as a job full time!

I was wondering if you make pieces for mold casting? And or is there a reason why (not?)
Im experimenting with making molds since the holiday Brake of my lessons

I don't, no. Ceramics tends to a craft where people take a particular route and stick with that, rather than using all of the methods in their studio. I throw my pots on the wheel, whilst those who slip cast tend to specialise in doing that. Of course there are outliers but usually potters tend to specialise in a certain area.
