@@chrisaskme811 that flapper is for sound only. Because of the DFM, when it is cutting cylinders out, you would be able to hear it from quiet factory exhaust. Sounds like a burbling sound. So the factory installed the flapper.

Why is there no dyno tests before and after the the exhaust is installed.. $2G is a lot of money for just sound
Tried to run it on the dyno, the transmission refused to cooperate.
Make more money and that $2k is nothing but a small price

Let's be honest here: Cruising RPM is more important than muffler design when talking about drone.
No mufflers here, just resonators that are purely designed to be drone free at cruising speeds without disrupting a straight-through exhaust path.
What about those of us with the Z71 dual integrated exhaust?
They're removed, and in their place goes dual 4" tips on each side.

I’m sorry, but if you need to add a flapper to make your exhaust sound decent….you need a new exhaust. Thanks for the response.
