    Hello, which oil would be better for my renegade 800R 2009 Amsoil atv/utv 10w40 or 0w40???

  • @ShawnTRD

    Do you think the 0W-40 is better then ATV-UTV 5W-50 or 10W-40 in normal climates?

    After 3 years, in 100 degree heat would you recommend 0w-40 or the 10w-40?

    • @Syntheticwarehouse
      @Syntheticwarehouse  2 роки тому +1

      Either one. I have AZ and TX customers who only use the 0w-40. Remember - it's never any thinner than the 40 part. the 0W doesn't really make a concern unless you are in extreme low temps. Just think of it as being more fluid at 85F but as the engine works its way to 212F it is still thicker until it reaches it's viscosity at the advertised viscosity..
      That said - the only issue that makes these different for ATV use is the 10W-40 has less additives. But per the lab guys they told me the 0W-40 is an all out performance product built like the Signature Series we sell for cars. Where as the 10W-40 was more basic to give customers something to match the owners guides..

    Can you start off with Amsoil in
    brand new ATV without hurting the rings and the engine
    Should the motor be broken with conventional first
    Anybody has opinion thanks. 2018 Honda

      Of course you want to follow the suggestions in the owners manual but we have customers do it all the time after 100 hours and because there are no friction modifiers we have had many use our oil for break-in in their own rebuilds. It works but just takes a little longer.

    Is it ok if we run the 0w40 in our can-am atvs/utvs if we run them primarily in the summer time even though it was designed for all season use?

    • @grillsandaxlegrease3578
      @grillsandaxlegrease3578 3 роки тому +1

      Yes - It's designed for all seasons all climates. Our Texas customers use it in the harsh heat.
