- Wouldn't it be great to have Shark airplane in the US as an LSA without all the current restrictions?
Join Jon Baron and Chris Horsten, our US representatives, in a short interview from Oshkosh AirVenture 2023 to learn more about whether the Shark will fit into the LSA category under the newly upcoming MOSAIC rules.

Definitely want one, when I do get my pilots and the money
I would love to see a fixed-gear variant (if there isn’t one already). I’m willing to bet you won’t give up any more than 10 kts of cruise speed, especially at higher altitudes where there is less drag. Having a retractable gear pretty much doubles your insurance premiums and quadruples your maintenance costs over a fixed-gear aircraft.
Actually it’s more than 30 knots. We expect the introduction of MOSAIC will significantly help with lowering the insurance premiums.
Intercontinental or Trans Continental, that's a Stretch. Good range, sure.
This plane has gone around the world several times by different people.
@@mauriceevans6546 yeah, short hops. Try looking what a real airplane company like Cessna uses for it's definition of Intercontinental, this thing is not even close. Good range for an LSA, but it it ain't Intercontinental.
@jpdurr people have flown this plane from the Chek Republic to oshkosh and beyond at close to 200mph. What plane in cessna Fleet goes faster than 150 mph in cruise! One can buy two new mosaic airplanes for the price of one cessna and still run rings around it. The new gogetair four seater from Europe is 299,000 and the CTLS flight design F2 is 200,000.
@@mauriceevans6546 Big Whoop, it's been done in other LSAs too. This is not an Intercontinental plane anymore than I am a Marathon Runner even though I have walked over 26 miles.
What does "Cessna use for its definition of intercontinental"?@@jpdurr
