Thanks, Edd, for showing us some of the possibilities for how to use Warps. You packed quite a lot into those 5 minutes, and this will require repeated viewings and some note-taking to get it through my thick skull and into the meat computer.
Wow. Warps in 2020! And I was just looking at getting this module. Did Sonicstate read my mind? (BTW, love that you put up new videos about "old" modules. Great job.)
Indeed a mighty module, especially with the Parasites firmware. But getting the firmware in was a horrible experience, like defusing an atomic bomb with only red wires (you know). It finally worked with a phone and an input gain attenuator (like Ears). But even when it bricks, you can still retry over and over again.
I wish people would stop adding reverb and delay to demo videos, especially where resonance and other sound elements can be mistaken for reverb/delay and vice versa. I just want to hear exactly what the module itself is doing, not what you're tastes in reverb and delay are. Great video as usual, otherwise.
well done ed! i love the open feedback loop mode on the delay setting (oscillator off.) it's easy to send to a filter and back without being overly sensitive to running away in unlike the DLDs open feedback network.
Great video, a question.... at the start when your showing the internal oscillator you then plug another external sine into input 1, I thought if you plug something in there it takes priority over the internal osc ? Thanks again
Cool demo, sounds great! Does the color of the LED in the knob indicate anything specific? Like a mode or level of some sort? It seems to just change randomly on transients.
Yeah the LED colour indicates what algorithm is being used. Theres a CV input to modulate which algo is being used which theyre using when its changing rapidly.
O: Thank you, that's it. M: What? O: That's it. Good morning. M: But I was just getting interested! O: I'm sorry, the five minutes is up. I really have to watch more of these. Thank you!
Good to see you focusing on the other than newly released modules. Warps is a classic must have!

MMM that bassline, watery effect, then funky groove at 4:27

One of the best "5 minutes with..." so far.

I like to hear what it can do musically so I guess both worlds should be addressed. But I totally agree when it's about a module feature demo.

Warps is cool! Love the parasite delay. Can range from tape to great sounding flanger.
Thanks for doing these. Super clear and understandable.
I agree for the clippings

Only when the led is off. When on, it’s PM (phase modulation)

More videos like this please.
What manner of devilry is this!?
Infernal, heretical, tone wobbler. Burn it I say, BURN IT

Well done ~
Nice. I'll have one of those :)
Thank you :)
