- HE WASN'T HAVING IT.
My wife and I went to a garage sale this past weekend to find some stuff to resell for a profit online! The guy at this garage sale DID NOT like the idea of selling stuff for a low price though.

Great to meet you today Ryan and Pam! Thanks for taking the time to chat with us. You both were so nice!!
Great meeting you as well Kevin! Hope to see you out there again!
Nice of you to not really expose what they do!
Is he as big as a baby as he seems gezzus
I would have passed. He is the type of seller I avoid no matter how nice of stuff he /she has. It's all retail.
Exactly. I would never want to be rude, but this is one of those times when you say "yeah, go sell it there then. Lose the fees, shipping, time to list, shipping supplies, etc."
If he wants ebay or Mercari prices why doesn't sell them on those platforms
because he doesnt need to?
His stuff his prices 😆 🤣
@@adrianmendoza3581 this is true but I don't think he sold much
When I heard the first high price I woulda set it down and walked out. Sell it online if you want online prices 🤷🏻♀️
I love to see y’all out as a family 💖 Pam is always such a sweetheart, just love her! Yeah, that guy was pricey for sure!! The whole eBay line….makes me cringe every time 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes it’s cringe. Thanks Tonya!!
That guys prices were ridiculous. Once they mention EBay you know they want too much money.
I can get $16/17 for him on Mercari, jeeez these people make me laugh , they want the top retail prices for their items but don't want to sit at a computer and list them and do all the work lol. Thanks for sharing guys
Oh my nerves I need a cup of tea and honey 🍯 after that guy !
Nice you met up with people that know you .
I meet these types of sellers every week. They fail to realize that if you eBay prices for your items you have sell them on eBay or find a collector locally.
no you dont. You just end up not selling them and try again next time. eventually someone will buy. not every garage sale is people unloading all their junk
@@lxreedyxl4605 agreed nothing wrong with asking around eBay prices. you find a collector you will sell for right around eBay prices all day. it's the resellers who think it's dumb for people to do that because they are not getting a good deal.
@@andrewturnbull4842 ya I just think it's funny people expect a garage sale to mean everyone should be selling for pennies on the dollar. People can price appropriate that's what smart sellers do not every sale is old people getting rid of shit lol.
@@lxreedyxl4605 lol most garage sales I see like this they are not selling anything.
@@Jruth68 and? some people dont care because if they dont sell their items, they keep them. That guy has good stuff.
That guy is the worst type of guy at a yard sale. The expert who knows the online price but has no idea about the fees and all that goes into selling online. Kudos to you for keeping it polite.
Kudos to Ryan, I'm mentally exhausted.
I think that the items you bought will bring joy to those who buy it. Maybe something for a collector or means something to someone. Making money doesn't always have to be the only thing if you bring someone happiness. Keep up the great content!
Was he having a yard sale or was he pricing them for sale on ebay? You got some great treasures, but I think you paid too much
People don't consider the fees and shipping that would get taken out when they want to sell things at eBay prices at yard sales
I did pay too much. Oh well.
people can ask whatever they want. I don't get why people expect everything to be just given to them because it's a garage sale lol. if they ask to much don't buy and move on
@@PIP-zf9yb i get and understand that, but it's a yard sale..if they want ebay prices, then they need to do the work and list them there
@@maribethmcaroy I will agree to disagree seller can list and ask for anthring they want. I've been to ton of yard/garage sales with prices just below eBay and I've bought items from those sales. If your buying it to keep and collect people don't mind if your a reseller move onto the next. Plenty of sales with great deals but not everyone will be like that and it shouldn't be expected with dumb comments like what is this a sale or eBay. It's called a informed seller trying to get the most for his items
I love the comment that he'd be losing money. It's a Garage Sale. If he didn't want to "lose money" he needed to put in the work to sell these things on ebay and Mercari like he kept mentioning every 2 minutes. ;) You were a glutton for punishment asking him to bring out more items, LOL!
I would’ve passed because he kept telling the more you buy the cheaper it is he kept raising the price
I would have passed and most likely, politely, suggested if he wanted the eBay prices he kept mentioning he should put them on there and just close his garage sale.
I went to a private estate sale like this once. They had a bunch of new toys in the box. They were trying to sell it higher than sold comps on ebay. Several people that where looking at toys overheard me trying to negotiate with the seller. A few of them stopped looking and just walked away.
Kevin's cool, also nice to keep Pam company 🙂
My head was spinning! When they keep spouting online prices, I just tune out and say bye. What a trip!
You have the patience of a saint. That guy would not stop talking. My eyes were glazing over watching.
Awww the baby Ryan is adorable. (Not that Dad isn't) Some great finds today Ryan. Pam you look terrific. Enjoy the baby Guys !
Great video. Those turtles are about the easiest thing you can sell on eBay. If they are sitting in his garage, he ain't selling on eBay. (eBay is a lot of work plus 15%.)
I just like watching ~I don’t know the prices of things like that-lol. I don’t need anything:)TFS👍😊🤗🌷
OMG that guy killed me ! Thankyou for cutting back to Pam back and forth . Yesterday I went to an estate sale and asked how much a video game was the guy said $38 I looked it up on eBay before I asked it was selling between 25 - 35 $ I literally said wow I guess nothing here is on sale and walked out ! I’m done with “ eBay yardsales” it’s getting worse too
Crazy 😂😂
He kept saying well on ebay or mecari...well then sell it there if you want those prices. His prices were a bit high for a garage sale.
Checkout my podcast here: ua-cam.com/channels/nRuBSSrqwaAOlVmhtd4wOw.html
Love the TAG SALES goes for $$ on Mercari/e-bay he should do the work maybe doesn’t know how. Man those prices were insane no meat left for you glad you said NO! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
I just subscribed. I’ve been watching y’all for a while. Sorry I’m late subscribing but I watch all your videos! I absolutely love when Pam says “Keep dreaming you crazy dreamers” you have a beautiful family!
Nice seeing ya.Ryan is so cute and growing God Bless
Ryan I love how you said under your breathe yeah somebody might buy it,man my moms house is full of antiques, dolls, you name it,she won’t part with it,she’s 80.It sucks because she’s always complaining she Brock,I sell stuff on Mercari and she let me sell 3 things, wow I will be stuck with all that…sell it!
Good finds guys.. The seller has lots of good items.. Unfortunately he wants over ebay prices for it all.. Keep it moving.. Stay safe all..👍💕🔥⚾🤗🤙
Once he established he was BSing when he said the more you guy the better the price I would've passed on everything altogether. I'm not putting in the time and effort to make his job making as much as he can in the comfort of his garage easier. I don't want to hear about how much you can get on eBay or Mercari until you have millions of people lined up coming to your garage sale. Go get it then
Problem with "giving you a deal" is the personal perception of what a "deal" actually is. But that Moschino @6:40 could've been a good pick up if its in there.
As soon as the “I can’t get 17$ each on Mercari” credentials came out, I wouldn’t have bought anything. Those people don’t consider the extra time to list/ship/store/extra fees & 30% tax after $600.
I think they guy should just have put on eBay not put in a yard sale people are looking for deals .he probably just don’t want to do eBay because of taxes but he could have sold all the turtles in 1 day and been done with it. No I would not have paid that I’m really cheap . We went to Watertown sell in Tennessee today and found ninja turtle cases 3 of them for 10.00 each but not much other stuff there it used to big one of the biggest town sells but it has really died down I think everybody is listing now on eBay Mercari and others . Everybody is out to make extra money. You can’t find stuff like u could 15 years ago. Goodvideos . Beautiful baby
Awesome video guys. Thanks for sharing. Love the hat brother. God bless our veterans.
I wish you could have gotten the turtles. Like you said, is this yard sale or ebay, you two are awesome.
That is the most chill baby I have ever seen. And cute as a button!!
Pam was having a lovely normal, everyday conversation whilst you were stuck with retail price/these are worth a fortune/I don't understand yard sales John 😂😂😂
I haven't seen you on my phone in a long time.I thought maybe you where not doing yard sales anymore. Hope to see more of you .On U tube C.M.
that was a fun watch :) rem im the same guy on facebook !! we have talked abut your apple ipad
Yeah one thing I can't stand is when someone has a Garage or yard sale and they try to ask next to retail for the items or asking EBAY prices at a GARAGE sale....sometimes you got to learn to walk away and let them keep there stuff....
I freaking hate when people say well I need this amount of $ because I can get this and that on Ebay or somewhere else.
wow. this dude needs to get out more. the TMNT are cool. i own most of them myself and some of them can go for decent price.. but expecting top dollar at a yard sale, that’s ridiculous. i can go to my local flea market and find any one of those figures for $1 a piece all day long. they are literally everywhere
If he wanted ebay prices for stuff he should have ebayed it... he could clear out the turtles though if he priced them better...
That guy was NOT losing money! Give me a break! You were smart to stop when you did ! And Baby Ryan is growing up quickly!
I think iam going to go thru my boys action figures there in the attic don't know if there worth anything from the 90s but iam a crazy dreamer ✌️
I love how they quote prices on Mercari/eBay, but they never factor in the 12.9% selling fee and shipping costs. So go ahead and knock at least 20% off your price.
Plus you wouldn't resell to just to break even.
Your baby was born congratulations! 👏
The California raisins and TMNT case was cool. Really I think for the individual turtles I think he was too high on them. If they were still packaged it probably would of been good but then he would of had a higher price on them. Lol.
Wow great finds, the wife said the litte dreamer looks Cute
That guy was nuts! I would’ve walked away so fast.
Thanks for sharing my dude
'Good seeing all of you. Yeah that guy was off on his prices, very greedy guy. its a garage sale for Petes sake not Macy's.Nice to see the baby again. Keep things coming . also love that Pam is out and about too.
Hate when they eBay price items at garage sales whole point of a garage sale is to clear out excess shit that’s crowding your home
not for everyone it isn't. no rule that says you have to give shit away because it's a garage sale lol. no idea where people get that notion from. it's called being a informed seller
@@PIP-zf9yb an informed seller would sell the merchandise on a platform targeting a mass amount of people that way the odds of it selling is higher idk who tf has a yard sale tryna get top dollar and actually expecting to get it
@@HumanRamenPersonThing no lol. You can do Great selling at flea markets and garage sales selling for right under eBay prices. No need to give shit away. He was a informed seller that's all. Not every sale is going to be people moving away and giving stuff away for nothing
wow what high prices, that's not a bundle deal.
pfff I lose money, not in the blister
Yeah and ebay....then sell it on ebay.
I went to a garage sale and the guy kept saying “ on eBay “ I got so annoyed I set everything down and said “ we’ll looks like you should sell on eBay instead “ and walked off
Have you ever wanted to say, "If it was worth so much on Ebay, you would've sold it on Ebay!!" Ugh!!
You did just fine considering that man.
@11:20 These guys knew the reseller etiquette lol
The clothes there were pretty overpriced for the most part. My mom grabbed some vintage Pyrex for a good deal, and I got a few new old stock sears tools. Most of the good stuff was gone at 8:52. They let people in at 8:47.
i think that some sellers like that just buy on e bay dont understand that e bay takes a huge percentage , so when you pay 20 bucks for something the e bay seller isnt making that 20 bucks sometimes may see 10 or whatever depending on circumstances .
Lucky you made it out of there with your shirt on, or he probably would of tried to sell it to you.
Gotta love when someone says I can sell it on ebay.... Well then go sell it on ebay. oh yeah. you probably have no idea how to do that lol.
Right 😂
Probably doesn't it's not easy to sell on eBay I done it years ago
@@TrickyChi 13 percent off the top, plus shipping and having to deal with returns. if they did they wouldn't ask so much. let alone most people don't know you have to look at what sold. you can list a item for 1k if you want, doesn't mean anyone will pay that.
@@TTVZicaZachh I used to resell on ebay long time ago it's really not easy
I sell on ebay sometimes, I know.
Hi guys, great vid, the Lego base plates under the turtles, if they are 50x50 stud they can get easily get £20 each in complete condition(ie, not broken)👍👍👍👌👌👌💵💵💵
Once he started keeping his prices higher even buying more... I would have passed on the additional bundle like you had... Glad you hadn't forgotten to get your raisin guys.... When he said he has to keep 1/// which was breaking your turtle cluster find... Which ya'll saying it was almost complete... smh....
Hey Ryan and Pam looks like the baby doing well I love your channel so much
hi guys hope all is well take care little ryan is getting big love debra love my shirt i got wearing it now
I probably would of just bought the masters of the universe items. They were very cool. He was a strange guy, his prices were all over the place. If I sold on eBay, lol then sell it on eBay this is a garage sale 😂
Detest people who say on EBay! For what once was is hot is not now. I use to do appraisal s on antiques.
I think those oven gloves are cool denim ones Pam, HAHA
I love the way people say they sell on ebay for ## , but this is not eBay !! you cant quote eBay prices if you can't be bothered to do the listings yourself
Hi, I can't see where the link is to the mittens you talked about at .44. They kind of look like oven mits. Thank You
That's the kind of sale you leave your number at.... hope he comes to reality and calls yah lol
Ryan, your short comments are hilarious 😂 😂. Dude in garage was giving me a headache. 🙄🤕
Me too...I would have just left the stuff there.
I went to this sale, but couldn't do much with his prices, sadly.
What about the glove things link :)
Wowzers 😳 I would have passed unless I wanted it myself, but that’s just me. 💕
I totally thought he was Jack Black in the thumbnail.
Vintage tmnt for 5 each is a steal! In decent shape they go 25-30 each minimum
they go for they dont sell for
It might be frustrating for you but this is a really emotionally thing this man is doing. I can almost hear him crying as he values his most nostalgic possessions. I wonder why he has to sell everything, he is clearly upset with parting with the things.
Another delusional yard sale seller. Just a reminder...this is not eBay it's a garage sale.
Agree
Yeah, this seller was *very* irritating to listen to his banter. I probably would have walked away unless I had a Go Pro and a YT channel that needed content. And negotiations that don't result in sales probably don't attract the non-reseller audience that feeds the YT revenue stream. Ryan was *very* diplomatic.
This guy is nuts !!!
I think I would have passed 😕. Your right, he didn't save you any money or time. LOL LOL
Sounds like he wanted to hang onto that stuff , must be in the storage business :-)
Yeah. The Seller is obviously a reseller himself - or a hoarder with a wide range of taste (antique bottles and other non-BOLO items in addition to a deep offering of NIB vintage). I wondered whether he was even aware that he was hiking the prices or not negotiating a volume discount in good faith. Lawdy, I bet this *** was a trip to deal with when he bought the stuff. He probably talked the original sellers to death.
@@YTSkeptic Yeah , he was trying to get as close to retail as possible. Being a vendor at a flea market myself , I price things so they will move , there is one picker that buys so much from me I give him better deals , he keeps coming back. I mostly sell crafted blacksmith items but also have odds and ends , none of it will move if it’s pricey and not willing to negotiate within reason
KEEP DREAMIN YOU CRAZY DREAMERS
I'm still confused, take care and God bless x
8:53 Jim Gaffigan's brother.
Man I would have got those turtles Man for sure coo video thanks
That dude was definitely out there 😒 .. did he say tickle my fancy?? 🤔😳
You kept trying to walk away and he was trying to sell a snow blower lol
Hold out and at the end of the day. They usually come to their senses and realize they need the money and had better take it.
No he was all over everywhere sound like he was like loose like a cannon 1st he says 45 then he goes to 85 then he goes back down to 60 and it's like he wasn't giving you very much of a deal those are repops anyways Then again the only thing really you've got out of it was that nice case she'll do very well with that sorry brother and congratulations
I would have gotten the little Raisin men
I don't understand. Why do people say it costs this on eBay or Amazon? Why not put it on there then Instead of selling at your yard sale. You can't expect people to pay you retail or what it sells for on Amazon or eBay.
What's the song used in the outro? I tried shazam but it pulls up a different song every time I try. Thanks
Not sure. I get my music off a paid copyright free music website
One tin of sports cards "Big collector" 😆
👍
Look out for the " wombles " it's a English t.v and sort toys, they have been on the tv since the 70s, in England they are doing a t.v. advert at the moment about the environment. Paddington bear with clothes wellies and luggage label as they are going to be bringing out a new film this year and he is also mascot for UNICEF and children in schools will be told what UNICEF is about especially with the war going on in Ukraine and the books as children will be wanting to get one. Worth a lot of money
Those were neat things he had but he wanted way too much. You can't use ebay to price thing. There are fees and other things he would have to take out of the prices. Also what's its listed for doesnt mean people would pay it. He's still too attached to his stuff. Let him keep it and list on ebay. Give him your number so when he figures out what its going to cost in reality to list on ebay he can call you. Lol. He was way too expensive.
Yeah, that guy wanted way too much for his stuff. I think you did ok on what you bought but he certainly wasn’t giving you a deal.
