A consistent and crushing band full of attitude live, many should follow their example. They always give their 110% I guarantee it I saw them years ago my neck is still hurting. Sammy is a riffing machine and Ben is a beast onstage but offstage the humblest nicest guy.

Goatwhore never disappoints, this is REAL Metal, killer production and riffs, epic song titles and lyrics, consistent awesomeness, so glad these guys keep going year after year!!! Sammy is a riff machine, definitely inflicted with "Tony Iommi Syndrome"!

After 7 years of gap I am listening to extreme metal ..I have never heard of the band before but now after listening to this I became a fan of goatwhore...
I saw them live so many times after the release of their first full-length, Eclipse Of Ages Into Black, back in 2000. It's not on UA-cam because the guy running the now-defunct label they recorded it with doesn't allow it to be streamed online, but it's worth ordering. It's an amazing album and this is probably the first album in their discography that returns to those roots.
These guys are the best! every new album is an evolution from, yet a continuation of, the previous album. This is pretty brutal stuff yet the production is crystal clear, everyone owning their own sonic space but still coming at you as one solid mass of savage fury. This is a super impressive effort from Goatwhore and well-worth the 5 year wait!

I wish I would have paid more attention when I saw them live. They opened up for someone and I didn't know them and was in the back not really paying much attention. Meanwhile the crowd was more packed for them than the headliner, don't recall who it was maybe Whitechapel. Oh yeah, that's what happened, there were so many people packed in that I couldn't get through to watch so I just hung out in the back. XD
If I would have known then what I know now then I would have pushed my way through.
That's why you should always check out an opener that you don't know, you never know if they are gonna be one of your favorite bands in the future.
I saw them open for High on Fire about 10-12 years ago. I like HoF but honestly, I was more interested in seeing Goatwhore.

Listened start to finish through headphones. Picked up a lot of subtle nuances & influences. Solid & eclectic LP. Good shit.
It's been years since listened to this band and damn, this a great album.
Awesome record, a great fusion of thrash, death, black metal and punk with blasphemous lyricism as the cherry on top.

Must be up there for album of the year for me. This is stunning stuff here and dare I say it heavier than ever with insane riffs and sublime drumming. Seriously vicious and nasty just how it should be and totally loving this album. Stunning job guys 🤘🤘
I’ve seen them twice in Mobile Alabama, twice in Houma La. ,Twice in Nola , 3 times in New York and the very rare time in Nashville I missed them and that was just recently. Music city NO! Nashville is “ country music city”!

Bought an LP, Preorder. I love this mo fo band. Been listening since The Eclipse of Ages into Black and they never disappoint yet this album goes further and yet has mass appeal. dont know how they id it but a band names GOATWHORE made it into the top 10 of hard rock billboard charts!!!!! never saw that coming in the early 2000s but hell yea im so proud of these guys! next i drink with them and I will I will tell them that!!!!

This is the number one album in metal, in regards to what has been released in recent years. Its great enough that it deserves a seat next to the most iconic, undisputed metal albums ever recorded.
