Ohh noo😂

I love immensely the British pronunciation, you feel actually that it is the original pronunciation for the English language, thank you Lucy
Ha sax wll
Interestingly it's not at all the original way of speaking. Most if not all accents in England were rhotic to begin with, but now non-rhoticism like the received pronunciation accent you are thinking of is far more common (think of the r in car, carrr vs cah). There are still a ton of different accents in England even today.
"British" Is the original English accent! & it is originally in the whole world generally! xD
@@chanchito4401 the most like the original would be the cornish accent right? (Or at least the west country)
@@judeyeoman318 I have definitely heard it said before that the Cornish/West Country accent is closest to how English was spoken, and that American accents would have started off sounding very similar.
Siri and Google assistant voice should be replaced with Lucy's voice it's so mesmerising 😍
You're way too absolute 😍😍🥰✌️
can't agree more
really?Wow
Totally agree
💯💯 agreed
Lucy, have you ever thought of being a voiceover or an audio book narrator?! You sound so beautiful :)
She's too emotional. I mean it's good, I really enjoy listening to Lucy's voice, but for audiobooks it should sound more neutral, I suppose :)

On my previous pronunciation video many of you asked for definitions, so I included them this time. It was a lot of extra work so let me know if you found it helpful!

Thanks to Lucy for uploading the best lessons for all English learners. You're really great!
Simply the BEST teacher on UA-cam. Period.
I really love the way you teach us. Thank you so much Lucy ❤❤❤
Hey Joan, you should also watch #BigSubtitles videos it's really amazing and helpful too 🙂
Your videos are very very good, your pronunciation is perfect and I’m learning English much better thanks to you. A great greeting from Italy. 🇮🇹🇮🇹 you are fantastic.
I really appreciate you giving your students the transcription of the pronunciation. It really does help in learning how to pronounce and read new words when you learn a language. The pronunciation differences between dialects, as you've shown in a few of your videos, can be very subtle at times, which makes being able to see it written so helpful.
I would definitely love another video like this. I can see how much effort you have put into this video. I can only imagine how much time it took for you to plan and create this video. You did wonderfully!!
If someone would have ask me 3 wishes, then I would have asked for:
• Please make Lucy as my english teacher and may she get 10 Million subscribers and views🙏
• I want to live in foreign at least for a day and be a topper in foreign universities
• If not even the first two wishes, at least make her my neighbour or big sister 🥰🥰

Hey Lucy!
Your videos have really helped me to improve my English . Thank you very much!❤️❤️
Hi Lucy,
This was an awesome, excellent, amazing and an incredible lesson.
Usually Arab students find these words " work, world, world, water" difficult to pronounce like the British. Teachers at schools use the american pronunciation, and sometimes even the pronunciation is wrong. Anyway, by hard working students can learn the right pronunciation in your channel. Thank you very much. Best regards.
ua-cam.com/video/P5cvHo0StZQ/v-deo.html
what's wrong with the american english accent? you shouldn't compare it to the brit accent since it's way too far in terms of enunciation.
@@khal_elclarkkent9933 Have you read what I wrote? It's seems you totally miss understand my point of view.
First, I didn't say accent. There is a difference between accent and pronunciation (check phonetics - british er and american er) while accent is for example how Egyptians say the letter ج .
Second, I am talking about something that is taking place at schools and in general. Please next time read carefully before you jump into conclusion.
@@LanguagesTrainerDimah whatever you wrote inspired my english and you even made me learn new phrases, thanks a lot 🥰💖✌️

Great job.I am sure these words will boost our vocabulary. It has been a long time since I started studying English and your UA-cam channel has been helping me a lot.Your channel is a great tool for our learning.
Tysm! Your vids help a lot ♥️
shocked by the pronunciation of YEAR: I’ve been living a lie all my life, all these EARS 👂👂 thanks from italy 🇮🇹
Esatto, la mia vita è una menzogna ahahah
Anch'io sono rimasto shocked, le altre le sapevo tutte tranne years
probabilmente non era una menzogna...sei solo abituato alla pronuncia americana che è totalmente diversa...infatti io da poco vivo a Londra e parlo con accento Italo-"Americano"... è una faticaccia abituarsi alla differenza :-D
Sartoria Adriana Zizolfi eh lo so ahahsh
Andrea Cardinale per caso sei di Napoli?
I love your channel, Lucy! I refer it to my students all the time. Stay amazing!❤❤❤

5. 'Government' is also pronounced as ɡʌ𝐯ə𝐦(ə)𝐧𝐭 ɡʌ𝐯.ə𝐦.𝐦ə𝐧𝐭
I think the letter 'n' is replaced with the letter 'm' or 'n' is silent here.
Wonderful, many thanks!
I'm very happy to get such a golden chance of British English from our British English Lecturer ma'am.

Lucy, as you are a brilliant English teacher, I reckon that you would love to learn new things in life and wouldn't mind if somebody would correct you in your speech at some points. With this hope, I want to tell an error in your speech which can be heard frequently, you must be well aware of the rule to use THE as THEE before vowel sounds and THE as THUH before consonant sounds. I could hear you saying THUH one hundred, THEE most etc., which is both grammatically and comfort-wise wrong.
Hope you don't get me wrong and understand my point.🤗🤗
Your videos are really helpful! Thank you so much for these videos!!
Thanks for this wonderful lesson.
You must have been really tired after making this video Lucy. Well-done
She said she has left UA-cam on her VLog channel. Is this really her last video?
