@@Terabit3 Not as cool, for sure. Having the same side-charging handle as a semi-auto/assault rifle just sounds dull to me. Why couldn't they just make it the same size as a regular bolt-action?
I own several bullpups. I would like to buy one of these. Seems like it would be much lighter than my Desert Tech MDRX. I really wanted an SRS-A2 or M2. But the wait time was unknown, so I bought the MDRX. My credit card is ready!
It would probably be easy to make a set of rails that could attach to the m-lock with a sliding piece and a little arm to grab that bolt handle, making it an optional pump action. They should offer that. They could probably make it somewhat QD as well, so if you need to shoot from prone you could fairly easily just pop the pump mechanism off. Or just make the arm that grabs the bolt able to fold down or something.
Sounds like you could just do a one-way fit. A piece sticking up off the pump handle in front of the bolt handle so when you pump the bolt is pushed back, but nothing behind the handle so you can just grab the handle without the pump sliding. Also, the bolt would be sticking out either way without modification, so you could still rack it without touching the pump.
Seems like it would be way out there and harder to operate than finger-hooking... unless you're like 6'5". I'm just a 5'7" manlet... I gotta stretch my little T-rex arm to charge a PTR.

I don’t mind that it’s not semiautomatic because my two AR-15s fill that role. To me, I could see this competing with bolt action precision/medium to big-game hunting rifles. If it could have similar accuracy (including with that trigger-on a bullpup!), then this could be a winner.

There are a lot of these in Europe, basically a semi automatic rifle with a barrel that has no gas system and a bolt that's similar but it's all based on an automatic rifle with the gas removed, Either drill a gas port and fit a gas block and tube and modify the carrier to add a gas key and possibly have to drill a hole for the tube or piston, Or change the barrel and bolt carrier for an automatic version, these are always based on usually an Ar15 but this looks like it's based on an Ar10, Either way this should not be particularly difficult to convert to automatic, For those sceptical look up European conversions of AR's in countries that won't allow automatic military style rifles unless they are manual bolt actions, They are the same gun but with no gas and a large rear manual charging handle.
