Hey Food Box HQ Family! Today we're unboxing and cooking up Green Chef.
Green Chef is an organic meal kit that is owned by HelloFresh. Unlike HelloFresh, though, Green Chef's meals tend to focus more on nutrition over flavor. That's not to say these meals aren't tasty but I didn't find them to be as mouthwateringly delicious as other meal kits we've tried (such as Home Chef, HelloFresh, and Blue Apron).
In this video we'll cover what our experience was like using Green Chef for over 5 years. We'll go over what we think of their meal delivery service, what the prep/cooking process is like for the meals, pros and cons, and much more.

can you do Sun basket comparison I think they are also organic.
I just made my first green chef meal and it was really good. My only complaint is I wish the servings were 2 ounces bigger per serving
Are the ice packs filled with water or toxic chemicals? Packaging is a problem with HelloFresh.
I have to say I am so disappointed as a customer that has come back quite often to Green Chef for them to charge me $98 for a box I had on my app 100% skipped. I am for them to say it didn’t show up you have to make sure if you do skip a week and you’re going on vacation that take a picture of the screenshot And also you should get an email from them which I didn’t know my bad but the box came I was charged $95 for it and we weren’t home so they did not respond. They said too bad which I understand because I guess a lot of people could say that they had to skip that week but I genuinely did and it showed up on my app, but it didn’t register with them so they delivered so just heads up we careful today

Yep! Green Chef is actually owned by HelloFresh. They bought them years ago.

I thought the food already comes cooked. Are the meals easy to cook cuz I hate cooking? I know there counterpart Factor already comes cooked but there food is not organic or low sodium so I prefer Green chef

It's on our list :). It's pretty expensive though :/ Sprinly is a good option to consider too.
