Loved this review. Mingi wrote YOUTH while on Hiatus. Originally, the company wanted Mingi and Jongho to do a unit, but Mingi said he would only do a unit with Yunho and pushed to release YOUTH 🥲
Love the attitude of Matz, all swagger and energy and fashion and lyrical wit. It's really fun. Jungo's singing (as expected) and acting are superb in Everything, cheesy kdrama tropes included. Mingi and Yunho reach a whole other level in Youth--you feel how meaningful they are to each other, with the light and warmth that they have when they're together.
I see this album, The World EP Fin: Will, as a song cycle where Ateez address the adversities they faced to reach the current level of popular and artistic success and the force of will needed to overcome them. I love that the tour is called Will to Power.
Everything is actually an OST for a k drama, hence the k drama vibe in the MV. Matz is such a banger and one of my favourite songs from this album and Youth is just so relatable, I love the lyrics and Mingi's and Yunho's voices work so well together.
Love everything about this album...esp to see the growth in each of the releases also love the fact that units provide the opportunity to showcase the different colors each member has…even though right they been pretty clear from the start😊😅!!! Nevertheless Thank u for the reactions on this always fun to watch yours❤i admit i fell for this album even harder because of the "Matz" 🥰Seonghwa 😻...and for sure all the rest of ateez...once your in this rabbit hole u never wanna get out of😅🙈
