matz mv storyline: me and the bad bitch i pulled by being unhinged
I see this as Seonghwa breaking away from his image and showing us all sides of him. I love it! So proud of him and Hongjoong for always growing creatively. Also, thanks to KQ for trusting them and giving them the freedom to do this.
Hongjoong isn’t the Captain for no reason. He always gets the best looks. Also, I love seonghwa’s outfit, too. It suits him well.

So the part where you see someone in the beginning putting a GPS on it and then the line if you want to put a GPS put it on the suitcase not a carnival refers to crazy ass fans who put GPS trackers on their vehicles and he's like catch our suitcase then you'll know where where we are basically and for the person who earlier mentioned the Ateez grocery store I think you're absolutely on track with that The guys pay way more attention to Twitter and Instagram and other social media then a lot of people realize. They definitely know what's going on and have said as much and shown us time and time again that they're paying attention.
There's other lyrics in the song where they talk about we're doing pretty well already basically telling the industry that they're not going to hold them back that they're going to keep growing.
Seonghwa just can't beat the queen allegations. The way he's standing in his zoom-in shots is just queen behavior. He's so real for following his passion and convincing Hongjoong and Eden-ary to not do a ballad and push towards a hip-hop track because WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT RAPPER SEONGHWA?? He's everything this world needs with everything he does.
Hongjoong is the king of big fluffy coats, he also wore one in the Illusion MV and it made me stan🙌🏼

Ateez is really good in handling the camera along with the cameraman. Everytime i watched the behind the scene, they always direct the cameraman on how they actually want to be filmed. It's really cool to me because they're not just follow the orders but also gave their own idea and opinion. 😊

Just a note, it's not 100% clear, but the store reference may be due to the fact that ATEEZ has been blatantly plagiarized...from their dances to their songs and many ATINY call it "shopping at the ATEEZ store"...so the guys go in and destroy it so they can't take anything else...this isn't confirmed, but it makes sense and also it'd be cool bc ATEEZ are so in tune with ATINY that they pay attention to us on levels that we'll never understand ♥️
i'm not sure about this teory but there is a fact about some "peculiar fans" put a Gps on their car once and they follow them up, so that scene may reference to that also. ;)
The GPS on the car is a well known thing for Atiny. This song is a literal slap in the face to all the stalker fans, who are, in theory, represented by all the people dressed in black in this MV

I tell you now these guys NEVER disappoint, they just keep bringing it!! again i say it loud and proud, Atiny for life!!
The thing I like most about this is how they switch from the hand-held style to that very linear steady cam at one point that moves the vibe from frenetic to almost majestic. The color/mood thing is awesome, too. 10/10, no notes.
I can't wait till the other 3 MVs come out 😊

I have many kpop songs where I had to learn to appreciate them without MV. I now know when I'm not vibing with the visual to immediately stop it and give the song a shot without MV.
