New stadiums don't have character and qwerks like the old ones. I'd rather have a shitty old stadium with character and history than some generic thing they build these days.
I only went the Old Den once but it was one of the most memorable ground. An absolute bearpit. Millwall were new in the old Division 1 and were being totally outplayed by Nottingham Forest, yet the crowd almost literally roared them back from 2-0 down with five minutes to go to get a draw. The new one is totally insipid by comparision.
Millwall are proper and it's an insult to have them play in a identikit ground. Don't mess with perfection and stay out of the Lions Den! Rip it down and build the old.

Still got bit of turf from last game against bristol rovers (muppets). Never beat standing behind that goal (except being away of course, like at Palace's last game at Selhurst; tore up the burger kiosk [God knows why] then the whole way to s.norwood station, 'Wall visited every corner shop & started tabs, not a palace fan in sight [lags])
i enjoyed watching andy cole scor his first away goal for newcastle, and 2 of us wallking past the royal archer after slipping the escort with millwalls firm all massed inside and out! scary but filled with adrenalin! And then it all kicked off as the two firms came face to face on the crossroads!
Just thinking 'what is it with white Millwall Deptford bods & guns 'n roses?', & thought, wait a min, is this u Dean (putting this vid together)? He made me promise to support Wall (& not 'sign on with a pen in ur hand' shitpool) when we were 8, & he turned into a g 'n r nut, & all the white girls on pepys estate used to like them as well (I think they're shit). If u, do u remember stealing car badges & swapping number plates? Fuckinghell, eggs off the flyover? That bloke that almost caught us..
