You have a unique talent for clarity and communication in guitar teaching. I just bought your Total Guitar Transformation book and look forward to applying more of that. This is such a great, honest, true lesson for guitar players like me stuck somewhere between beginner/intermediate. I just started playing live this year and it's fun, but yeah, I need to get better. Thank you for sharing this joy.
Thanks for a great lesson, shows you can play a great solo without being lightning fast. Far too many lessons out there are way too fast and out of reach for many, so thank you.
What you’re saying and playing is nice, but where’s the TAB? This would make for complete and interactive video, otherwise I’m watching you play guitar only and as nice as it is this doesn’t help unless I can slowly watch every movement and write it down. The information and methods are good info, but the TAB from what you play will 100% improve this lesson. Thanks.
@@johnsmith-e9x I understand what you are saying but there are a few problems with that. It takes me about 3 hours to create a video like that. If I have to tab everything out that will be another 4 hours. This is time that I don’t have because I work with 165 students on a personal basis already. They get all the tabs 😀 The second aspect: if you really master this style of playing you need to embrace that you are good enough to find all those licks by ear. It might take you some time and ear training - but it’s so worth it! If this is the way of guitar improvisation you love then put in the energy and you’ll start hearing all those lines 🔥🔥 Hope that helps

Good demo, good teacher.
It's not just that you have the blues in you, it's how you get it out through your guitar playing.
