ELF seems to be the brand that dupes high end products often, a bit like Revolution but ELF seems to actually do a pretty good job, as the quality of their products are pretty good. I usually buy high end lipsticks but these, like the Milani lipsticks, seem just as good. I think I will get one of them
But they all would look horrendous on my very fair/cool skin tone. I can’t wear deep or warm tones. So they’re not actually versatile for everyone unfortunately.

Price AND quality have improved, as have ingredients. I can’t say that $9 for a lip product is much, since in Canada, weather at Walmart or a leading drug mart, you’d be hard pressed to find a comparable product at a lower price. Personally, I think elf has been hitting it out of the park these last few years and applaud their success and innovation. I can’t believe how expensive high end beauty has become. Can’t afford that, but this still feels like luxury. 👍

I'm not crazy about the price, but I've got to say, these look really nice, and I'm impressed to hear that they're fragrance-free; to me, that feels like the height of luxury. Thank you for the video! PS black lipstick gets along very well with very blush-heavy looks, if you wanted to wear it and not feel too goth.
I picked up Dirty Talk and I’m so glad you like it too! Great MLBB shade for me and I think it’s just the *right* amount of matte to look seamless but also be comfortable. If I just blot a bit of this on with a brush it quickly gives me a full, healthy look.
I actually appreciate the range they came out with. It looks like it would be great for multiple skin tones and under tones. May need to do some swatches of shades from other brands I already own and compare them to this range to see what shades I can add to my collection that I feel would also look good on me. Will be looking at the reds and the purple shades first, then move onto the browns and pinks next since I already have a few of those shades in my collection.

I have Shameless, No Regrets and Own It, and I love them. They go on in one swipe and it feels pretty matte, but not drying to the lips. And definitely worth the price.

My favorite is the Effortless color because that is my favorite color of lipstick to wear for a work look. But that brick red shade is gorg too
As a cool toned person (Dark Winter), the shades that worked well for me were Shameless, Smolder, Untamed, and All Night (well black is pretty much neutral lol). I would've wanted a deep, cool toned pink since I'm still on the search for that. I thought Effortless would be the one, but it looked too neon-ish on my face.
I purchased one of them to see if I would like it and I really do 🙂 The color payoff was good and it lasted a while. I plan to buy some other colors. Thanks for sharing, Dolores.🥰

Give the pinkish-red No Regrets a second chance! It's quite wearable. i love Dirty Talk and Effortless, and regardless of shade, the formula is wonderful--smooth, creamy, yet durable. There's a good color for everybody in elf's O-Face line. They remind me of the NARS lipsticks, especially the packaging!
I bought the shade dirty talk a couple weeks ago and it have been really liking it. I have also been really liking the new essence hydra matte lipstick And the new maybelline green edition lipstick (in a traditional lipstick style not the thin one)
Those lipsticks look beautiful I hear they cost more because of better magnetic packaging and formula is comparable to the NARS lipstick formula from reviews by Jen Phelps, so when comparing it to that instead of elf's old formula it's worth it
The pigment on these looks awesome. No Regrets and Untamed are going on my wishlist right now. Does seem like Elf have increased the quality along with the price. 🤞

The shade Dirty Talk is like an exact dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow talk original lipstick. The shade and finish are the same. I just bought it and was so shocked at how similar it is. I now found my new go to and am very happy I'll be saving a lot more money now.🤣

I have dirty talk and is perfect to match it with different lip liners. I make it more peachy or pinky or brown, depending on the liner.
