I used to work with a guy named "Laci"(pronounced Lock-see) who escaped from behind the Iron Curtain. I played this album at work one day and he made me play this song over and over. We did live pretty close to Mexico, and it was pre-9/11, so we could just roll down to Nogales Heroica and get shitfaced for $5. Those were the days.
@Taleron I love The Refreshments and Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers, and this is such a great song. Please let me know if you do upgrade this vid using the whole series!
Wow, I can't believe someone still has this video! It's pretty terrible in spots - when I first made it, I only had the first DVD of Trigun to work with (episodes 1-4), but I'm a huge fan of this song so I couldn't wait until I picked up the others. Now that I've seen it again, I want to do a proper version using footage from the whole series! ^_^
@coldbloodedsam I do no that; I was just saying I like both incarnations, because there definitely is a difference and some fans do like one and not the other. I wish I could have seen The Refreshments before they disbanded, but I've seen RCPM four times now. And just a couple weeks ago, Roger and P.H. did an acoustic show here in town. It was fantastic and they were taking requests, so I finally got to hear "Interstate" live. Great times.
15 years later and I love this,
One of my all time favorite songs...

all i have to say in 100% pure win!
a great song....
I never did associate Trigun with the Refreshments, but I like the song
"Interstate" from the same album is better for stumble home drunk. "...and as I crossed the state line I was just in time to fall Asleep at the Wheel"
@itisowen If I could like this a hundred times, I would. And then a hundred more.
Mekong and Mexico best two songs
I would walk 500 miles... and i would walk 500 more.
the video dosent make sense with the song!
anime is gay but the song is too sickk!
