- According to the previous choices in this season and the ending one can get, we may see again Lyla or learn about Finn and Cassidy (Romance choice with Sean + stay alive for Finn). I have regrouped these three scenes in this video from the different endings of episode 5 and edited the video in a sequential way. I have also included the scene were Sean is alone. once I saw that graduation picture i sobbed. It was just crazy seeing him as a kid and then boom, he’s an adult. :(

@RIZZADO They're the true example of what it means to be bestfriends. Her being there for him after 15 years isn't really "waiting" for him in that sense. She's doing the same exact thing as Daniel and their mother.
@RIZZADO we don't know if she already married another guy, also I don't think Sean and Lyla dated after he got released, because after going to the woods with Daniel again, he left and went somewhere else.

I feel like the ending with Sean in Mexico and Daniel in America is honestly the best one. Daniel will get to live his life if he stays since he's too young to be locked up but by staying Sean will get locked up for most of his life. He wouldn't have a life, he'd get out in about his mid-thirties. Daniel seems to have a happy, normal life with his grandparents and gets to live close to Chris. Sean, from the very short picture, seems to have a good time in Mexico or at least better than in jail. It's even better if he got with Cassidy or Finn because he still has someone there and gets to start a life with them. And it seems Daniel and Sean are still on good terms as well despite Daniel deciding to stay behind since Sean does keep in touch. It's sad that they don't get to be together but it's probably the best choice for them individually.

I got the third ending, and... the moment Sean breaks down in tears in the wood hit me so much. It shows that none ending is the best : they are together, but Sean is broken inside after all these years in jail. I see that like in LiS 1, there were two endings : the logic ending and the heart ending. But in this LiS ? All are heart ending, whit no perfect conclusion. That’s why i can’t say goodbye to the wolves brothers that easy. And that’s why Square Enix is so amazing.
Just for the record, Square only published the game, none of their people had any input in this, it was all Dontnod entertainment
I don't know about that. The one where they escape to Mexico and start a car repair place together seems like a good ending to me, though I saw a slight possibility for a possible 5th ending, though the ending would have had to do with choices from episode 1 and 5

@@saibfr Better than Sean spending 15 years in prison for mainly Daniel's mistakes. Better than Daniel being under permanent house arrest, and better than Sean being shot through the throat and Daniel going full villain. Not to mention there's a reason the toast each other in the end, because they're free and they have each other

Yeah, the way she literally jumps into his arms after likely not being able to touch him (only seeing him through glass on visitation days) for 15 years, is both heartwarming and heartbreaking for sure.

Lyla is so fine. Sean is so lucky. I heard she's the actual love interest if you call her every time in the game, even though this ending doesn't show much.. I still enjoyed seeing her run up and hug Sean. Too wholesome

The only good ending is the one where Sean is in Mexico while Daniel is in america with his grandparents. Sean got what he wanted and Daniel got to stay. Sean dies when Daniel wants to go to Mexico but Sean doesn’t, Daniel isn’t happy with his life when they both reach Mexico and Sean is depressed and broken due to prison where they both surrender. That’s the only ending making it better for everyone
Yeah, it’s not like Daniel can’t visit him either, he can go down to Mexico with the rest of the family and visit him. And Eventually Sean will be free to enter the US again once the statute of limitations ends on his crimes
Actually there isnt really a best ending. While Sean gets to live out his life in Mexico , Daniel is stuck on house arrest( notice the ankle bracelet during the scene 2:47). This is essentially Daniel trading his freedom and letting Sean live a life vs Sean going to jail for 15 years and Daniel living in freedom.

@@chatspc They are locators. You can't take them off. The police know exactly where Daniel is at all time. If Daniel just happen to get out of his permitted area, that thing will start beeping and the police will immediately chase after him. If you try to break it, the police will also be alert. Essentially, he is only allowed to be at school and home.

I interpreted it as Sean having a visceral realization of just how much time has passed and how much the brothers' paths have diverged. Daniel is telling him these stories, and Sean just has to sit there and think about how he missed all these moments with Daniel. And all because he was serving time for crime he didn't commit. And now Daniel has this whole life with other people that Sean may never have met, and Sean knows that he doesn't really fit into that world anymore. So he cries because he's happy for Daniel, but he's also sad for what he lost -- both the time that has passed, and the future that they might have been able to share.

If you called Lyla in ep 1 and 2 and surrender with high morality she will be there waiting for sean to get out of prison, in high morality ending where you dont surrender cass will appear if you romance cass up instead of going with finns plan and vice versa and if you did none of those things its just a pic of Sean
At first I had the ending with Lyla at the prison. In my second ending I ended up with Cassidy in Mexico and I don’t know why I didn’t even made out with her!😂I was friendly to her that’s all, because I thought that Sean and Lyla could end up together.

I admire how lyla waited for Sean for over 15 years, do u see Cassidy or Finn doing that? she’s so good too Sean. The only part I like about the redemption ending is Sean hugging lyla and spending time with Daniel, I just hate the fact that he spent 15 fucking years in jail for shit he didn’t do and when he breaks down I couldn’t I let it all out I wasn’t okay.
And on top of that, he had a bad case of PTSD

Which is also referred to by Sean sending Daniel some sand from the beach in the envelope. But me too!!! I want to see both our boys living their best lives in Mexico :(
Plus Finn's dream of owning a villa near the beach, maybe a reality if he romanced Sean, given that Sean owns a similar kind of property in blood brothers ending

The thing that *breaks my heart* the most is that *Lyla* was *barely* even part of the game, I wish she would've been a part of everything except for the phone calls. I wish we could've learned more about her. Besides that, the game was freaking amazing. Who ever knew that *Life Is Strange 2* could be so *relatable* to our earth these days? I hope there will at least be a new game soon.

You should have gotten the picture where he was being alone in the Mexico, since you declined to be into Cassidy and Finn. Dunno, haven't played the game more into than in watching it through UA-cam! But there would have been also better endings and I hope there will be LIS 3
@@thevaldis1167 you will get "alone" picture if cassidy was angry at you(aka if you chose to go along with finn's plan) If you didn't agree with finn then cass won't be angry and you will remain friends. So even though you didn't romance her she's still going to visit you. That's what I think, at least
I really dont Unterstand why Nobody wants to find Out more about Daniels Power and why it exist or where it came from when he stays with the police. I mean i think in real life he would bei prisoned in area 51 and would undergo Experiments or smt.

i wasted my teen for brotherhood without thinking any of romance thing. then when i play this, see how Lyla really care about Sean is punch me. i wish i had someone like Lyla. they deserve together.
I think the best ending, for both of them is Daniel staying with the Reynolds while Sean goes to Mexico. We can see that Daniel lived pretty happy and normal life, had friends, went to school and such, while Sean got to live his life for himself and he looks happy too. They stay in touch too, obviously.
In any other ending, Sean sacrifices everything for Daniel. He either dies, goes to prison, or lives with him in Mexico, which means he probably keeps dedicating his life go Daniel, like he did throughout the whole game. It's sad to see them get separated, but ultimately it's for their best. We've seen their bond and we know it's strong enough for them to keep in touch, while we have also seen Sean was willing to destroy and sacrifice his life for Daniel's happiness, and that's not good, especially because we have seen in Seattle before the incident and also in California that Sean was capable of having his life without constantly taking care of worrying about Daniel. He sure did take care of him on their journey, but that doesn't mean he has to keep doing it for the rest of his life.
In Parting ways, they both got to live "normal" lives, and that's why I think it's the best ending. It also doesn't exclude the option of them seeing each other again, or Sean seeing Lyla or Karen.
This game was amazing, but I didn't like any end, none could surprise / thrill me like the first life is strange, I still expect a DLC of the game.
None of the endings are as dramatic as the first game's but they are more realistic

I like the ending where they both got to Puerto Lobos. It was their end goal and they made it happen regardless of what the world threw at them
But they become criminals , judging by the newspaper clippings, edgy drawings of Daniel pickpocketing from the darkness of alleyways, and tattoos Sean has, along with the amount of money he stored in the safe.
What ? They aren’t criminals. They never stole any money the only newspaper heading was a gang hideout being raided. The money was from their shop
@@mirashan5376 umm explain the edgy drawing of Daniel and Sean pickpocking from shadows, which is similar to the newspaper clipping of mass pickpocketing in Daniel's ending
(Same with high morality, as when Sean surrenders he draws about Daniel saving a bus, but Sean isn't around, it's a newspaper clipping of a bus miraculously getting saved).
Y do they have clipping of a police encounter that left 2 dead, and also how did accumulate enough money, to buy that villa and turn it into a garage.

The way I see it is this way:
Lone Wolf: The worst ending. Sean dies and Daniel lives a sad and emotionally damaged life.
Parting Ways: Sean lives a moderately good life, Daniel lives a moderately good life. Daniel has an ankle bracelet so he doesn't have complete freedom. Sean doesn't have his brother or family.
Redemption: Daniel lives a great life, Sean lives a damaged and stolen life.
Blood Brothers: Sean and Daniel live a moderately good life, but they're also living dangerously.
Blood brothers seem to be the best outcome for both.
In parting ways Daniel is probably being studied and tested by the government,no Freedom.
as i see it parting ways and redemption are the same thing but changing the brother

I didn't like this game, but wen I played it once I realized that it is so good, and these endings... they're real, cause when you feel boys' feelings, you feel it inside
I love the mexico one where they are together and they look badass and I like Kinda like the one where sean goes to prison and daniel is 25 because there free of there crimes and can do whatever they want. But I like the mexico one the most!

I have no idea why Finn wasn’t in my photograph with Sean in my ending. I went along with his plan, they kissed, woke him up in hospital and they confessed they had feelings for each other. I also had high mortality so I’m really confused why he was alone.
Flin,Cassidy and lyla both deserve a role in the ending. They were my favourite side characters.

They should make a sequel for Daniel and Chris and Lyla following the events of either parting ways or redemption. I feel like Parting Ways and we get episodes of Sean in mexico with finn or cassidy or himself and episodes of Lyla Daniel and Chris would be an amazing close to LIS2
Sad turth is that Sean should had never run away initially they had absolutely no evidence it was him and the death was from intense impact which can't be by done by a person considering the car fliped by nothing touching it. Plus if they suspected a bomb there would bomb residue which their isn't. Plus if he stayed they most likely get tried for around 1-5 years since at the time he was 16 plus they would fail due to only going off of assumptions not real physical evidence.
Yeah, I was thinking that from the very beginning but from their perspective, they didn't believe they would get a fair trial and by the time they even think about going back the damage was already done sadly.

Eaomorain didn’t really piss me off, the only thing that bothered me was that you always get the 15year sentences. It would have been cool if through high morality you could lower that sentence to like 5years etc. After all what can they accuse you off ? A dead cop that could have never been killed by Sean , grand theft auto and running from the law. And he was underaged

1. Killing the officer in Seattle (allegedly)
2. Stealing, injuring and vandalizing the gas station and it's owner (determinant)
3. Vandalizing the motel room
4. Stealing toys from that fair in ep2 (determinant)
5. Killing that cougar, which might be protected (determinant)
6. Potentially injuring or killing that officer in ep2 that was chasing the Bros and almost runs over Capt spirit (determinant)
7. Growing illegal pot and attempting to murder Merrill (determinant)

A L yet again I said what can they accuse him of if you played on high morality and if you do you can pretty much remove everything from that list. Like destroying that wall how are they going to proof that ? @@yurigagarin3327 well for the wall, those racists will undoubtedly be brought as witness despite their dubious evidence. The gas station, I believe there is a camera that recorded the entire thing. Also I believe the camera at the interrogation room was still active when Daniel freed him. Also I believe the angle they will use to persecute Sean if high morality, is how much danger he put Daniel through, how he is a detrimental influence on him, used Daniel as an accessory to his crime, and was criminally negligent that allowed him to get injured 2 times, at least.

God I love this game with all my heart. Sean and Daniel are my favorite video game characters along with Chloe and max. I wish we would’ve gotten more with lyla, I really wish her and Sean would’ve gotten together at some point. 🥺
My favorite ending is Finn & Sean living together on that island. It would be better if the whole gang reunited and they were all on the island.

If you feel bad for Sean for being alone, am sure he isn’t he probably has the whole gang from the farm with him.
I read Daniel being on house arrest as being of his OWN DOING later in life not as punishment for the events at the border. Why would he have pictures of him with his car if he was on house arrest what sense of pride or even use would it be. Also we see pictures of him visiting his mom in Arizona way beyond Beaver creak where he lives with his grandparents. At the border Sean asked Daniel to disregard others lives and left then left his 10 yo brother to deal with the consequences. While Daniel was the “bigger brother” in taking accountability for both of their actions I imagine that Sean careless and selfish actions had an effect on how Daniel continued to live his life especially into teen years when many Challenge authority. I noticed that in the scene at the Reynolds’s home Daniel continued to just talk on the phone while his elderly grandparents cut the grass and brought in a bag of groceries without helping ( he was talking to his mom but still he could’ve helped Claire at least). If you compare the pictures with the one where Sean goes to jail you see Daniel hangout with friends graduate get a job move out granted it’s over a longer period of time. I also like how it show Daniel as working then moving out rather the just a random picture of him and his car. (possibly a gift from the Reynolds’s) This shows that Daniel is working for the things he wants and the fact that he can support himself in his mid 20’s and not still live with his grandparents show he’s responsible and a hard working. And while Sean is in jail it seam like he’s made a comic about their experiences (possibly published with a following I imagine from the barcode:) and still involved in Daniels live through visits. I was very happy (while sobbing) with my ending the brother eventually get to be with each other (without being criminals) and live the life that Esteban would be proud of:)

Both brothers surrendering isn’t the best but the most emotional, like Sean sacrificed a big section of his life in prison so Daniel could live it out normally and not on the run constantly. I actually started crying when I got this fucking ending cause I have a little brother and would do anything for him man, great game 👍
Lyla should’ve been in the game more, also I think she should’ve been in the ending where sean n dan both went to Mexico. Like wtf?? I’m so disappointed

The prison ending is the most heartbreaking ending. Sean is so destroyed and broken and he didn't deserve to be in prison just because of what the racist white cop started. Blood brothers is the best ending imo.
I like this ending because the statute of limitations for the crimes they’ve committed will probably be over and they can see each other again and in the mean time they have people to spend their lives with

Jun Kurosu we never actually know wether or not if he would’ve gotten charged with murder especially since Daniel is the one on house arrest, but there was a bunch of other stuff too that he did that does have statue of limitations
