Yes this day was a bit special Colin as I crammed a lot in, because when I got the train from Chepstow I went to the SVR via Ashchurch to get my car to filming of some HST moves until it got dark. Then I had a nice Bathums beer which I love followed by some great Fish and Chip with curry sauce. Brilliant day Colin, but you have a save week and keep warm, regards Mike.

I like to try and spend a few hours at station I don't often visit Ben, and this one got full marks in my book with what I got on film with the freight working.

It was luck Nick, I got my phono out to see if there was a cafe near the station and it was on the other side of the building I was standing next to, but I don't understand how come I didn't smell the cooking. ? You can't complain at the amount of Redsheds in this video can you mate. But the plan was to get the class 67s on the RHTT twice but as you can see they ran so early they passed me as I got of the train from Cardiff. Have a good week Nick, regards Mike.

Good day shooting butt, cracking brekky too 😋 just a thought if you stick a polarising filter onto the front of your lens when your shooting thru the carriage windows looking out it might reduce the reflections.
Now that's what I call a propper breakfast Mike..... looks like you had a cracking day there. Not a place i would have thought to be interesting. Obviously I'm wrong. Great watch buddy
Is the Roberston - Westerleigh double-headed 66s all the time now? I've seen a few workings of this and its been double-headed. How does that make economical sense. Still, it is DB after all!
Yes Steve this train has to be doubleheader now because a 66/6 can't to the job which the class 60 did on the inclines. I say lets get the class 60s back DB. Cheers for the interest, Mike.
@RichardMitchell-ut1uc in diesel mode would still struggle more than likely. If the wires are available where it struggles with inclines then it wouldn't be an issue I would think.
@@benGBRf And at present the overhead supply is only available between Severn Tunnel Jc and Cardiff. Not much use for a load of petrol & diesel fuel from Milford Haven.

I was so lucky with that station cafe Pete, I didn't smell the food which is unusual for me, but yes I had a cracking morning there, cheers Mike.
