Tri tip & ribs have been my favorites for many years, then I had the nerve to finally do a brisket after getting my RT 680. Game changer. Keep the smoke rolling Mike.
Great video!! I made these today. Followed your method pretty closely, but I'm not a big fan of sticky wet BBQ, so for the last step, I made one batch with some BBQ sauce, the other I just threw in some more brown sugar. Both came out pretty good... But I think I prefer the ones with just brown sugar. In fact next time I will try to add even more brown sugar or maybe some honey. I want to get a crunchy carmelized coating on them. There was still a fair amount of liquid in my foil wrap, both melted fat and juices.
Be careful with honey, I find it burns pretty easy. I'm all for a crunchy caramelized coating, that sounds delicious. Good Luck, let me know how it goes. Thanks George
I've been doing these for a couple of years and they've become a fav of all my friends at parties. One difference I do is to drizzy with honey when adding the brown sugar and butter. Also, great to kick up the heat with some habanero BBQ sauce on the last step.
I'm jumping on the pork belly wagon. Sounds like a good cook for this weekend....I've seen a few of your videos, like what I've seen so far. New sub here.
Excellent, Man.....I live in Alaska, and tho I'm certainly attuned to winter grilling, I'm gonna try this in my air fryer and juke some liquid smoke...But, Hey, a guys gotta experiment...
Hey Joe, actually I do brisket burnt ends very simple. I cut the point off the brisket and cube it. Once in a while I will throw them on a open flame for a few minutes but usually I eat them as is. Thanks for watching
I'm going to have to try cooking these too - and I'll probably just stick with the Weber version. Thanks for the great idea! Oh... how was the Stubb's Dr Pepper sauce?
You’ll love them. I love most of Stubb’s products but I have to admit I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Dr Pepper sauce. My son loves it. Let me know how it goes. Thanks for watching.
Note so self. Never ever watch your video again on an empty stomach. LOL Darn, these looks awesome. Did do some bacon several time with great success but never tried burn end. Another item to try in my bucket list.
This cook is one of my favorites on the channel. Not because of anything real special with the video side of things but those Burnt Ends were so incredible. Thanks so much for the encouragement and good luck.
It would help if you place the pork belly on a cutting board and not paper when cutting..... I just did some pork belly burnt ends using Killer Hogg's BBQ and HOT seasoning. The best stuff ever!

Always glad to hear from you Jay. Thanks for your support. BTW I have an awesome video coming up about Tri Tip vs Picanha.
Mike you ever heard of corning a tri tip & making pastrami. Just picked up a cryopack of 5 tri tips & thinking about trying it on one of them.
Jay I haven't corned a tri tip but I'd love to know how it turns out.
Did some searching & it's been done b4. I'll let you know how it turns out Mike.
Mike PitmasterX just posted the same thing.

I don’t have a slow n sear can I do it with out it
Definitely, you just need to separate your coals to one side to create an indirect cooking area.
Can you do this on a pellet grill
You can do this on any low and slow cooker. Thanks for watching and asking a great question.
New sub 👍🏻
Super awesome to have you in the Backyard SunCoaster. Welcome, and thank you.
Change my mind, burnt ends could become my favorite. I have to find someone to get pork belly.
I don't recommend eating them real often because they are so loaded with sweetness and fat but man they are delicious. Thanks for watching.

Awesome job bro. Just get rid of the chipmunk music.....!
Thanks for watching.
Thats so bad for a guy but so good
I’m having a hard time finding pork belly
Most butchers should be able to supply it. Ask the grocery store counter if they have one in the back. Often times they do.
Go to Costco.
Go to Costco.
