I love how he was honest about still working on the harder planches!

Dimitris Striftompolas 😂 😂
Me lol 😂😂😂😂
I know! I tried it and my triceps were instantly on fire. I can do a frog stand okay, though. Then I tried regular tuck planche and instantly got a wicked cramp in my calf. Ugh.
@Emiliano Aidan Definitely, have been using kaldroStream for years myself :D
@@hunterkaden2701 ah yes two random accounts on a randim video randomly talking about a random movie site, not sus at all.
Just did the first progression 10 seconds hold. Not bad for 1st time at 64 years old🤪

This really helped me, now I will move on to learn the full planche hold. Again thanks a lot, liked and subscribed.
Glad it helped! We also have a vid about learning the straddle planche, make sure to check that one out as well 💪💪💪
You should continue this beginner tutorial videos
With 200+ likes we will do more of these! Just give us a few video ideas already :)
@@CalisthenicsFamily That would be easy! But im also in for those beginner Tutorials
the jump from frog stand to tucked planche is insane. I can do like 30 seconds of frog stand...I can't do even 1 second of tucked planche. Thank you for this video. I will implement this routine to strengthen the core and that frog stand with knees higher up on elbows looks like what I needed
Amazing, really useful basic steps for newbies on calistenics :D
I’m a beginner and this really help me. Thanks!!!💪🏼🔥
Great to hear bro! Smah Like for more vids like this ;)
Did you get the planche? This is my first day trying it
Hello, I am from Indonesia. Your videos are very inspiring. Keep up the good work
Glad you like them!
Excellent tutorial! Not only did I learn how to get tuck planche, I am also studying English and it helps me a lot to listen to your videos, you have a new subscriber, like!
Looks like your English is fine with that spelling and grammar :)
Your triceps are so amazing . Can u make video on exercise for triceps at home .
We'll write it down as an idea! 💪💪
Good content and first part is covered very well but there is a huge gap from frog stand (even in best form) to tuck planche which is not covered. Some other tutorials fill this gap with: 1. lifting one leg, hold in the air a bit then the other one ; 2. climbing a bit a wall backwards with the legs ; swings from L sit to tuck planche on parallete, etc.
Thanks calisthenics family for this video I have learned tuck planche within 50 days and now I can hold it for 2 minutes , and now I will try some harder profession of planche . Love from INDIA ❤️❤️🙏
Very helpful thank you.
Exactly what I was searching for. Subbed.
Awesome, thank you!
Finally a channel that show proper progress
Thank you for you serving to video that help me out handstand to press

Awesome tips... Thanks!!!!....
No problem :)
This is a great tutorial brotha… tyvm 🙏💪💪
I just love their intro music🔥. Pls don't change this intro music ever.

Thanks for the video. I'm going to use the dip machine at the gym where you put your feet. To simulate paralettes. And try your exercises. I can do handstand but It's going to take all my strength to do the L sit to push into handstand.
Nice man. L-sit to HS will take some practice but you will get it eventually!
How is it going bro?
@@Bryan1312a they closed my gym. :(
I'm kickboxing now. Learning kicks
I can hold a one arm hand stand for 60 seconds. So I'm good at that
Special for me, thank you
Enjoy it!
@@CalisthenicsFamily Thank you, I'm quite old but I'm progressing very well.
Thank you! IT really helped me.
Raise this guy to the top i recomend him. You helped me to do tuck planche on the floor👍
Legend!
Forward leans first to be able to hild that strigh arm position.
1:48 That's a Tuck V-Sit! (notice how you are leaning back) Beginners will have no chance at doing that unless you spread your knees out like a lotus position to make it a Tuck L-Sit.
Yeah, I tried it and I'm like, "How am I supposed to use to lift my lower body? It just doesn't move!"

Great video!!!! Thanks!!!
💪🏼💪🏼🔥
yesterday I tried to do a tucked planche hold. I think I finally did it in a way! But I can't seem to lock my arms straight for some reason!
Awesome to hear! To lock out your arms, you need to have a lot of straight arm strenght which you'll probably need to build up more by practicing it!
thank u mate very usefull
You're very welcome!
How hollow exactly your back have to be when doing tucked? Or is it just scapula retraction that is important?
What are requirement to achieve advance tuck from Tuck Planche???
When I try to open the tuck I fell down
Thanks for the upload! I love it!
These excercises are my goal for the next 12 months. Plange is not my goal. It's far to dangerous for my taste. Handstands make my ears hurt, by blood pressure.
Thanks bro! Goodluck 💪
How are you doing now? I started doing handstands a few days ago and I felt my ears hurting too but now is my third training and I'm already comfortable with my blood pressure
I am not trying these heavy exercises. I started doing less heavy exercies. My muscle dont grow anymore, but i dont feel weak or hurt all the time anymore. My muscle connectors to the bone kept me awake at night. And i take a rest of 48hours instead of 24hours. In a few months i am trying more heavy again.
@@grommie Good luck man, I hope you have huge progress
@@user-yc7rq7rm1e yea you get used to the blood pressure increase in your brain. I think our body learns how to use its blood vessels. I can hold my handstand (still using the wall for easier kick up) for some weeks now and I don't experience that uncomfortable feeling anymore. To the op: just keep doing it and you adapt. That is after you have healed of course.
Jammer dat ik met wat overgewicht kampt. Zou dit ook wel graag willen leren/ kennen.
Ben al bezig met krachttraining. Hoelang duurt het ongeveer om wat oefeningen onder de knie te krijgen?
Keep up the good work💪
i have an odd question i can do frog stands (been doing yoga for 2 years) but the first thing you do there i can't lift my ass off the ground with the legs raised lol is there a progression to do that?
This is because frog stands make use of bent arm strength (arms are bent) and this tucked planche utilizes straight arm strength which is completely different :)
Elevate the hands
I cant Make 3 exercice. I cant hold my hands straight. I Can Make the frog stand, but 3 exercice bring me back. But to Make a bigger angle IS hard. After, maybe i'll write if I made it
I can do frog stand and crow stand, not easily but I have done it up to a minute, but I cannot do the first one you show. My feet falls to the ground immediately. I am rather inflexible and 51 years old. Any tips?
The difference is in the straight arm strength you need for the tucked planche! Try the exercises presented in the video and if you want to do some extra than planche leans are a great additional exercise!
@@CalisthenicsFamily OK, but I thought the first one - which you call tucked hold - should be the easiest one? I can do it without much trouble when lifting myself in an armchair but on the floor I cannot get the balance right. Anyway, I will practice planche leans.
Good Guide Learnt how to do it, turns out it was my technique that was bad i had the strength
Glad it helped!
In the e.g. dynamic exercise tuck planch hold your back is rounded and your hips are under your shoulders. Is this correct or just the beginner version? I can raise my hips and then i get a kind of straight back.
What do you think?
Yes this is the beginner version! Once you can straighten your back, you're doing a progresion which is called the advanced tuck / flatback planche. Check out our: "straddle planche video", this will help you get to the next level :)
I can already do a tucked planche, but my hips aren't at the same hight as my shoulders yet. Besides that the only excercise i just cant do is the straight arm frog, but i think i'm just too afraid to fall or hurt my wrists
Thanks, hier kan ik zeker wat mee!
Goed om te horen! Succes :)
I always fall forward while doing frogstand. So i did it facing the wall so when i fall forward, there's a wall holding me
You can also use a pillow, might be a softer landing spot haha 💪💪💪
Damn been a while since you uploaded new content.I'm trying to learn Dutch myself. I know little to nothing
Haha nice, it's a difficult language to learn.
@@CalisthenicsFamily I know the alphabet I can count from 1-100, months colours and a few expressions
@@marcelchalobah7946 Nice man, hoever ben je nu?
@@David-km2ie I can't read Dutch but thanks
Lekker bezig
I have a goal to achieve HSPU in 11 months .
I really dont understand this move. I've been doing bodyweight workouts for 10+ years, can do 40-50 push ups with a 20 kg vest, can do about 40 dips at a 80 kg bw, all with proper form. Yet holding the tuck planche for more than 2 seconds seems impossible. I can hold planche leans with hands at waist level for a minute and probably longer. I just can't figure out where the weak point is. I have straight arms, keep my scapula protracted, yet I can't do it. If anyone has any idea, I would really appreciate an opinion.
The music at the end sounds like it would be in a Revamped or Modern Donkey Kong Game
Hi jongens,
Kan dit filmpje ook in t Nederlands. Mijn zoon vindt jullie fantastisch.
Hij is 9jaar. Hij snapt nu nog niet goed wat jullie vertellen in t Engels.
Thank you for this! Very comprehensive!
Any guidance on how long your sessions were when you were starting out? (E.g. 15 min, 30 min)
Depends a bit, but most of the time 1-2 hours!
I can do frog stand for about 30 seconds but when i try straight arm frog stand i feel like my arms will break in half.
that is perfectly normal haha, straight arm strength is a different game and much harder on the muscles and the tendons
Same thing mate, I can almost sleep in the frog stance, I can also do wall assisted handstand push-ups but I cant even hold the straight arms frog stance for a sec
I think straight ,arm strength is more on joint strength ,if I'm wrong ,kindly correct me ,and if u make vedios for how to increase straight arm strength ,that will bit helpful for lot of us ,who are still struggling with tuck .

Zenk joe wel!
when i do the straight arm frog strand it hurts a lot when i place me legs on the elbows. is this naturals or am i doing something wrong?
It is very natural and you'll be getting this a lot in the beginning!
@@CalisthenicsFamily hey man does planche leans help for tuck planch?
Man the straigt arm FS really killed me 😭 i know why i can't tuck with straight arm lmao
ok but I don't understand how do can I still have straight arms with the frog stand???
Is het de bedoeling om je armen naar binnen te drukken of naar buiten bij een planche / planche lean?
Ze zouden gestrekt moeten zijn en redelijk op dezelfde plaats moeten blijven. Dus niet naar buiten/binnen :)

Awesome 💪💪💪
When i do the advanced frog it hurts my elbows
I've tried all these exercises and I can do them all except for the tuck planche and straight arm grog stance. For every single one I feel like my legs are weighing me down and it doesn't help if I lean back any tips?
You probably need to practice it more often with a slight bent in your arm or do the other exercises to strengthen your straight arm 💪💪
What is the name of your intro music? Wanna download it
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
6:38 when i point my toes my legs started to cramps how to do it?
That happens to us as well sometimes. It is because you are tensing almost every muscle which can cause cramps. Make sure that you are hydrated before trying this exercise.
@@CalisthenicsFamily thank you

Fellow dutchman
Another name for frog stance is face plant
hahaha true that
I am in 3rd step that is Advanced frog stand I can Hold IT for 5 second....
awesome!
i cant do even the proggression of tucked planche
First do the bent arm planche
Do you have a program for this?
See the first link in description for a free Download! (it's the program that I'm currently using based on my goals and level, but it might helps you out)!
@@CalisthenicsFamily Thank you!
First progression feels just too hard I can't push
Hehe boy
Wait, I can do the frog stand easy, but I can't do the tuck hold. Why?
The difference between the frog stand and a planche hold is that with the planche hold, you are using straight arm strength and with the frong stand you use bent arms. Straight arm strength is much harder so you could start with practicing planche leans if the tucked planche is still too hard!
@@CalisthenicsFamily oh no, I phrased the question wrong my bad😅
I meant why can I do the frog hold for a longer time, even with straight arms but not the first exercise, the most basic one
Pls reply
How hard is this wtf? Cant lift my heavy butt in tuck planche. L sit no problem but go backwards…
I can tuck but no straight arm frog wtf?
Pretty common! Yannick has the same problem ;) It's your shoulder mobility!
I love calisthenics but some of these workouts are just impossible for me to pull off
Pick the right progression level for you and start there!
