St Elsewhere, my introduction to great 80's TV of my youth... thank you. Soap, Benny Hill, Howie Mandell, Ed, Sandford and son, Good Times, the seat hogs, oh man I'm going out with the next wave of dudes that were....like the Stones say in Mother's Little Helper..."What a drag is getting old ".....
Sweat hogs 😂 but I’m NOT a grammar Nazi...I agree with your Mother’s Little Helper reference...but I’ll always ❤️ my FAVORITE Stones song will always will be Nineteenth Nervous Breakdown...my very first Stones record (now who’s aging herself)
So many good actors got started on that show : Denzel Washington, Mark Harmon, David Morse, Ed Begley, Jr. A lot of people are only going to remember Mark Harmon for NCIS.
+Daniel Appleton To be fair, Gibbs isn't a bad role to be remembered for. It's fun to see the old shows though and see how things have progressed. It's so gradual we don't really notice until we're looking back at something 30 years old and can see the stark differences.
I can assure I'll always remember him for St. Elsewhere. I wasn't quite 8 when he came along in season 2, but there wasn't something about him that made want to forget my other doctor crush.
@@almatric Or regressed. There are some good shows but nothing as iconic or classic as shows like this back in the day. Too many shows nowadays have too much darkness and zero heart and humor. It's so one dimensional
I saw the episode where Victor got kicked out of surgery at the end of the clip and the patient told Victor he heard what he said while he was asleep during surgery , that he drinks his bathwater. Victor was a jerk.
"Had...I hope he learned his lesson...Bobby was one of the very few heterosexual charters to die from Aids..I guess a higher power was calling...Or was or was it the people over at moonlighting...??
MrCraigblaze I, as a RN ❤️ when Bobby got hetersexual transmitted AIDs. I was working with AIDs patients at the time and lived in the Deep South...finally people started believing what I was telling them....you could get it from non homosexual/non IV drug use.
@@scegenius8751 Yes in early 80's through the mid eighty's people thought it was a gay disease ..Or something..Mark Harmon went onto moonlighting after this.. Did you know this show ended in a dream ??
@@kendallrivers1119 no not Edward Woodward, I meant Denzel Washington. He might not be seen on this clip but he did play a doctor on this show. The black patient is played by actor Ernie Hudson from Ghost Busters.
No wonder Claudia Jean Cregg kissed him before he got shot in the last episode of The West Wing Season 3. He's Special Agent Simon Donovan and he'll always be that way for me and he would've been a fantastic boyfriend for CJ.
Well to most people he'll always be Leroy Jethro Gibbs NCIS special agent and of course Dr. Caldwell the smooth ladies man doctor who got all the tail ;)
What a PERFECT beautiful face Mark has!!!!! *thud*

From a RN, PhD...this episode shows how far we’ve come...this treatment of a burn victim would be considered malpractice now...
What exactly would be considered malpractice?
Paging Dr. Gibbs!

Dave Mindell I couldn’t STAND his character!
@@scegenius8751 Dr Craig called him a pig on a few occasions

Where is the one he gets raped in prison
That was David Morse's character, not Harmon's.
The first scene also includes David Morse another exceptional actor.
Why at 5:53 5:55 does it blur the image on the wall?
