@@markhernandez8361 Ive seen the first few seasons of HSB. It's actually a lot more interesting than today's cop shows. I liked the main boss guy and the confrontational ex-wife he has to argue with. He does this all while keeping his officers going and has that older gentleman as his 2nd in command. I love that guy too, especially when they're all sitting down in the morning before they go out on patrol. He gives them a little talk about what to focus on then tells them to "stay safe out there." A lot of really strong performances
What a great show,. I lived in Boston and took the Orange Line to work. Before it was put underground, the theme song ran through my mind whenever the train passed by that building.
@@MediocreDeficit Too old. 😄 I was only a few months out of college when I passed by that building. The Orange Line went underground a few months later. A former co-worker of mine (who's a decade older than me) went to high school with David Morse.
I used to love this show back in the day. I remember having a huge crush on Mark Harmon, and one episode that I never forgot was the one where Mrs, Hufnagel got trapped in the hospital bed like a big burrito. What a way to go!
I had forgotten about all the stars in this show . Mum used to make us watching it. We did t get to many American shows when I was growing up . All my friends wanted to live in the Brady bunch’s house lol
No, that's Michael Warren. He looked a lot like Denzel Washington back then. This is what it says in his IMDb - "Smart, talented African-American actor Michael Warren could have followed in the star shoes of Sidney Poitier but Denzel Washington beat him to it."
I watche St. Elsewhre in the Pre-DVR Era so I watched episodes here and there. I think it is funn that I don't remember anything about the Denzel Washington character in St. Elsewhere except that maybe he was a Runner. I defntely remember the Benton character in ER who was defintely a major character for several seasons in the Show. Denzel washington went on to a big Film Career after St. Elsewhere, but I don't think Eric LaSalle did much after ER. I heard Mr. LaSalle got into some directing.
Thanks for the up load new subsriber, just watch the theme song just had to start watching, we just finish the commish, highlander and Renegade now hunting for shows to watch after watching our regular shows LOVE Y_T
That actor is William Daniels, who is the star of this wonderful show. Mr. Daniels also played Mr. Feeney in Boy Meets World, as well as, John Adams. He has a most distinctive voice, for sure. You can always tell it's him. He is the reason I loved this show so much. He's my very favorite character, always opinionated, so sure of himself, and everyone else. He is the absolute best!! Love him!! (W.D. is now 88 yrs old! Even more amazing, Norman Lloyd, Dr. Auschlander, is 103!!)
I briefly met Daniels in a hotel elevator in Aspen about 2 years after S.E. closed. His wife (name escapes me) played Mrs. Dr. Mark Craig in later seasons. They had a son ( opera singer) at the music festival that summer. It was cool being in an elevator with two of my favorite TV characters of the 80s. Both were sweet when I told them that.
Tuesday, May 4, 2021--12:59 pm CST The guy that's the voice of KITT is William Daniels. He plays Dr. Mark Craig. He's now 94 years old and is still alive and is still very active. Terry Marvin (Dallas, Texas, USA)
Great show but why the window? Why not a full screen? Can't watch such a small screen. Not how a great show is supposed to be watched. Please correct. Thank you.
I love st Elsewhere so much I would like to watch a lot of series all day long!!!!!!
This show was THE BEST...first of its kind really...great Characters.
I worked in Boston for 18 years and I know exactly where St. Eligius Hospital is located and St. Elsewhere bring back some great Boston memories.
Is it still there, you should do a video on it least showing the outside of it
I'm new to this show. Is there a reason it Is titled "st.elsewhere," despite the hospital being called something else?
If watched Hillsstreet Blues, it does not have a plot city, I guessing it was somewhere in Pa.

Before there was E.R. or Chicago Hope or Grey's Anatomy, there was St Elsewhere
Interesting cause I always was under the impression those shows sucked. But this series seems to have an incredibly strong legacy

Mrs. Hufnagel was the best character on the show! She knew all the dirt on the doctors. Loved the way she would rip them a new one

I bet young Tim Robbins got his rocks off playing a Bill Ayers.
Omgosh. That’s Laraine Newman. The original SNL cast was the best.
He sounds like Mr Feeneyfrom Boy Meets World
i noticed the guy from knight rider who does the kitt voice is in this

William Daniels actually would do the readings as KITT on "Knight Rider" on the days he wasn't working on "St. Elsewhere".
Let's Not Forget Howie Mandell...with Hair btw!!
This is my very first time actually watching any of this show. Is there a reason there's no episode 1?
Can anyone timestamp when Dr Fanning appears please

Why is it cloudy and is there anyway to enlarge the picture!?
Because it’s 40 years old…remember when TVs weren’t digital??
And enlarge it using 2 fingers & you can stretch out the picture😊😊
