@@realkhan10 hey khan, i didnt work for that project but from my many construction experiences in indonesia especially the one with super confidental project before opening like that, theyre not gonna expose that so soon bcs it against their policy. so you have to wait more but dont worry bcs things like this gonna spread anytime soon^^

Just asked my dad, he replied me as follows:
"For floating PV Structure, we will select it according to layout of PV arrary, the weight of PV module , and max. wind speed of site condition, calculated and selected by floater manufacture. the material for PV structure is hot-dip galvanizing steel or aluminium alloy."
But to remind that the answer can be inaccurate, since he is charge of the electrical system part, and he told me that it's beyond his knowledge to know the actual materials - because it's up to the manufactuers to decide the material selection, not by their department
So personally, I suggest you to take it critically

sebentar lagi ada proyek yang lebih besar lagi yaitu PLTA kayan 9000MW 240 triliun dan PLTA mentarang 1300MW 40 triliun.
Ada lagi kelebihan membangun PLTS apung, panel nya jadi lebih dingin. Karena sebenarnya kalau panel nya kepanasan malah menurunkan efisiensi dan umur.

This is an amazing project that I hope Masdar, the UAE and partner nations can replicate across the world again and again and again because solar is now the most affordable way to generate power and probably always will be from here on out! We're getting closer and closer to the day energy FINALLY becomes "too cheap to measure" as the old line about nuclear power once said...
Although once I found out one pellet of uranium oxide could power a house for a year on $2.40 worth of radioactive sands I also became pro-nuclear too! Whatever way we can generate carbon-free energy is A-OK in my books!

Indonesia is archipelagic country... So the rain mainly come from sea that evaporate...
So if lake or any fresh water is covered, there's more than half of Indonesia's area (i mean sea) that can be evaporated for rain...

tidak, karna walaupun terlihat besar namun sekalanya masih kecil tidak sampai menutupi semua air yang membuat nantinya air tidak menguap untuk menjadi hujan

Itu baru memakai 4% permukaan waduk cirata nanti bakal dikembangkan lagi maksimalnya waduk cirata yang bisa dipakai 20 % jadi masih bisa lebih besar lagi 5 kali lipat dari sekarang

Sadly this place is mountainous area so there's lots of cloud cover and rain, I wouldn't expect it to operate anywhere near the maximum capacity.
