    Time to mandate them on all agricultural green houses worldwide.

    The agrovoltaics concept is growing so fast around the world. With a wide variety of innovative approaches emerging in recent years that will be a key part of the energy and climate transition.

    It's a Miracle, now we can grow plants in the shade ! I don't think so..

      Just Google shade loving plants. The video clearly states this method is only suitable for sunny dry climates.

      Just try it your self. You will starve. We grow corn, oats, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, apples, peaches, cherries, apricots, onions, garlic, srawberries,, lettuce and much more. These things do not grow in the kind of shade that solar panels provide. This is absolute nonsence.@@alp8409

      I tried growing blackberries under a few solar panels. It works like a charm. Those in full sun dry up and produce almost no fruit, those under the solar panels were loaded with fruit. It just works. I doubt it'd work for things like grapes but for other stuff it's ok

    Aren't the solar panels blocking the sunlight for the veggies ?

      Unlike In Buildings - That Lightbulb in the Sky, Moves, in a Predictable Path, Too, so you can place the PV Panels in a suitable spacing to allow the Sunlight to Sweep Across the Plants, but sill provide heating without direct constant sunlight.

    where is the video of landfill-agro-voltaics, where they have the spent/broken solar panels dumped into the earth, with (non)-organic spinach growing on top? it's not happening, until the spent solar panels, windmill parts (ALL) are completely recyclable and their lands able to resume productivity, certainly the massive windmills with their very deep fills of concrete footings, are not easily removed, and the greater than football field wings are not able to be recycled, they are laminated carbon fibers, this is a major and very expensive drawback to these so-called green energies, WHY did they not consider these life-cycle issues prior to installations? Maybe because Billions of $ of my taxpayer funds were offered? But what about the costs to future? Are my kids and grandkids going to be paying a LOT to clean up all this toxic waste? Why is this not discussed at the outset?

    • @ryanmarkey5012
      @ryanmarkey5012 4 місяці тому

      Because the level of waste is not at a threshold to dictate an economy of scale for a recycling industry (yet,). Far more landfill filled with domestic refuse than ever will with panels or blades.

    Nop.. the CO2 footprint in making solar panels, battery, maintenance, transportation of parts is making way higher CO2 than simply farming with conventional farming.😂

      Not If you account for the electricity production in the 20 year lifespan of solar panels.

    • @robbie4084
      @robbie4084 7 місяців тому +2

      Your not thinking of the 25 year usage of the panel's
      And the system
      That more than compensates
      + this is smart farming as well as harvesting energy from the sun
      This type of system is a positive gain to everyone and our planet
