I think it is more of him seeing other og top players in ultimate making a come back like Tweek, Leo, and Maister. They are playing their characters they played from the start.

The flaw of that ending game 1 is why Rage fucking sucks, even if it's nerfed in Ult. Marrs loses out on a consistent killthrow because he did not have enough rage, and Light raged up kills even earlier.

Gonna keep it a bean…Marss was the better player in Grands. Played a -1/-2 and it was basically down to one decision that lost some of the games. Generational to say the least
Marss is so incredibly entertaining to watch because you see how hard he plays with this character. Every game he either comes back or plays very strongly and its so fun to watch this guy carry zss

The game 1 vs Light was so tragic
The technical skill you need to play that character at the highest level is insane. I think that character holds you back Marss. But what you gonna do right..
I don't think he would do better if he switched characters. He has so much experience with this character, and if perfectly fits his playstyle. He tried other characters in tournament (Captain Falcon, Mega Man, Joker, and I think Snake as well), and they all weren't sufficient when he tried.
I think he could play them succesfully, but he should practise them a lot more (his Snake might actually be tournament ready).

I meant that as a main, there is no character that will give him better results.
After that, I meant that he could use a secondary / some secondaries to cover her bad match-ups, but he has to practise them more.
Marss breaking down his gameplay is unironically really fun and interesting, I can’t play ZSS, but Marss makes me want to.

The major flaw I noticed in the set against Light was there was not enough turbo t-bagging. Saw too many missed opportunities he could’ve capitalized on. Idk, I’m just a masher
In the final vs Light you had all the momentum in game 4 then switched your playstyle for some reason after taking the first stock. Up until that point your aggression was working perfectly then you changed to being much more evasive, which is what allowed Light to come back at you. Can you break down why you decided to do that?

Ngl i dont like saying stuff like this, but you completely outplayed light. You made very miniscule mistakes throughout the match and like you said, he can capitalize so much on little mistakes where you maybe get a jab or some shit. Sucks to see light win that when he got consistently outplayed. This was almost as bad as tweek vs acola at the last summit
