Voltage accuracy was tested with a board with MAX6126AASA21+ (2.048V, max +-0.4mV, 3ppm/°C) and AD587K (10V, max +-5mV, 10 ppm/°C) voltage references. Uni-T UT139C measured them as 2.050-2.051V and 10.01, which are just couple of counts off.

Got this same meter form Franky's eBay store about a year ago. I love it, the only issue is to find replacements for the mA range fuse. This was my first non crap meter, so I blew the fuse within a week (yes I'm a noob). Franky did not have replacement fuses for this unit, but was very kind and explained me what specs I needed to look in a replacement.

Franky really knows what he is selling and is willing to help if there is a problem. Much better than some eBay sellers who give same "We'll give you a partial refund if you just forget the problem" -type answer to every problem.
hello friend good video thank you very much. I have a doubt it is normal in this model that of random or decreasing values in mV. It is the first time that a voltmeter shows values without having anything connected to measure. I find it strange to buy it today and I have something annoying esom since I check cell phones in mV and if this makes a false reading that the phone is not emitting it affects me in the diagnosis of it. I saw that in another video I reprogram the time of the backlight can be reprogrammed to appear at 0 mV and only show values when I am really measuring something. Thanks for your answer
You must go to the dc range to measure frequency.

WHAT IS THE REASON I COULD NOT MEASURE THE OSCILLATOR IN Hz STAGE WITH UT139C MODEL MULTIMETER? UT61C MODEL CAN READ 32.768 FREQUENCY VALUES. IS IT POSSIBLE TO MEASURE Tuning-fork crystal used in a modern quartz watch WITH UT139C?
Crystal circuits are quite sensitive and for some reason (which I'm not able to detect from the user manuals) UT139C loads the circuit differently and prevents crystal from running. That is my guess.

I just got this one today. The Meter works nicely but the screen... omg... I'm not sure if UNI-T has recently changed the LCD screen but the LCD viewing angles are much worse than in the model you show in this video as it is impossible to see anything on the screen when you look at it perpendicularly. And When you turn on the light on is even worse.
Mine's the same. A bit of a shame, really.
i'm going to buy this multimeter, do you recommend it?
After owning it for almost a year, I still love the UT139C! I haven't had any problems with it and for around $40 you will get nice features with better build quality than some other cheap meters.
UT139C is a great choice, I hope you'll like it as much as I do!
This or ut-61d/e?
I haven't used UT61E, but as far as I know it has bargraph display, 22000count display and a PC-connection that can be used for logging. UT139C on the other hand has better input protection and overall build quality.
As far as I know, both are great DMMs in this price range... I'm sure you'd be happy with either one.
I have never considered getting the UT-61D, so I don't know about that one.
