Why didn't Mike pay for HIS Daughter's Wedding? Why didn't he pay to support her growing up for 10 years? The Stepdaughter...an entitled little Witch...
I think her mother had great influence on her behaviour, not for the good side of course. Getting rid of these two leeches and the "father" is the best you can do in such a situation. Sadly, normal single moms will get marked with the behaviour of these two prostitutes.
@@covercalls88 Then perhaps she should have respected the fella that was there for she and her Mom when he was needed. Being a Dad doesn't just mean being a sperm donor.
If my future DIL treated her stepfather that way I would be concerned she would treat my Son with the same disrespect. Happily I won the DIL lottery. I feel like I have two bonus daughters. ♥️
KARMA!!!!! NTA. Your wife and stepdaughter are disgraceful, entitled Brujas! You are not their ATM machine! You have feelings and they crushed them!If wife wants to pay for the wedding she can get a job. If I were the fiancé I’d have dumped Claire
We do, however, know where the entitlement came from. His former partner taught her daughter how to take advantage of other people. OP finally saw through the façade his stepdaughter and now ex put up.
There is a name for what Jen was . Think about it ! You never married , she was.safe and secure in the knowledge that every thing would be looked after . You even took in her baggage ( her daughter ) . Think about it . 👨👩👧
I watched this same scenario play out with an acquaintance, only worse. The woman he was dating worked for same company are a high salary, and she was collecting alimony and child support from her last husband. She had this guy paying bills, tuition, vacations and any expense she could milk out of him. In the mean time she was feathering her nest collecting off two men. You can’t buy love and affection. If a woman doesn’t love you without your money, she won’t love you with it. You’re just a sucker she is using and you’ll never be family! My wife and I watched this guy pay and pay, trying to buy this woman’s love and respect. But the more he provided, the less she respected him. Men, don’t believe that your wealth can buy you love or even appreciation. You’ll end up alone and broke!
Well, call that victim blaming if you wish but he's sort of brought all this on himself. Why did he pick up that Jen? Why didn't he cut them off long before this wedding? She and her daughter never showed him any respect, so why living with them and supporting them? S&M pleasures? We not suppose to blame victims but who can think for us if not ourselves?
I remembered my sons wedding in 2005, it had about 100 guests, and they had paid for it. I contributed $2000 for the wedding and paid $5000 for the banquet that followed. I don't think the bride side paid much if anything, but had a few relatives crash the party. But in the end money from my relatives and friends made up more than enough to pay for everthing.
The mother was also probably messing with the father of the girl too, all of those years. All she saw him as is a means to an end. Also, I remember this story being more concise. Why in the world has this been embellished?
they added extra plots for the story. Op and partner were never married; they were long term partners. the original story ended with the ex partner and the daughter moving in with the fiancee, the part where the expartner tried to pay by cheque from their joint account were true as well.
@@MCBRUCE76it’s a true story some details were changed but in the original real life story he never married the step daughter’s mom. He took care of her like she was his own though.
Step-Daughter doesn't want to use 16% of her allotted guest list for her step-father's friends, and wants her biological father to walk her down the aisle, both very reasonable things. Step-father, who admitted he didn't have a close emotional relationship to step-daughter in the first place, decides on the most nuclear course of action without ever trying to work out any kind of compromise. Sounds reasonable.
Agreed, those requests from the step-daughter are completely fair. It’s her wedding, not his ego parade. Why couldn’t he just have an honest conversation?
I thought inviting his friends and family was a little strange too. We don't know what their relationship with her was? If they treated her like ahe was hos child, then she's wrong. Being mad his golfing buddy wasn't invited is a little ridiculous.
Get creative with the story's. you make them all structured the same and talk the same way. The most noticeable is every story has "a few weeks go by and all is great and settling down then a call came in and I answered because my curiosity got the best of me"
Fair question, but maybe it’s less about who the child is biologically and more about who they are in his heart. Sometimes, love doesn’t follow traditional rules
This is why you dont date a single mom, I would not hav even paid for my step kid anything if your father was in and out.th mom and daughter was just using this man for his resources.and he let it happen to himself.
I'm a bit skeptical. I've seen people being taken advantage of, and yes, you can slide into this "well, I took care of her so far, she's practically my daughter, guess I'll be paying for her education then, and for her car, and for her meals and upkeep ..." But somewhere around "still, I never grumble" this sounded so Cinderella that "okay, maybe facts, maybe spinning a tale" thoughts cropped up.
The "right, I'm not paying for this" I can understand. But what he did was cancelling the entire wedding, so the whole planning, scheduling etc had to start straight from scratch. He could have giving the rest of those involved - biological parents, fiance's family - a chance to pick up the bill. Ah well, if this was a movie I'd be going "over the top and hard to believable" ten minutes in.
Okay, Fake, Fake, Fake, who the hell is Sarah then? oh, of course, they're all made up names, so you slipped up with remembering what character you'd written, of course, silly me!
it's a rehash of course what story isn't these day? second the point is the woman was never married to you for a reason simp. you were a temp card for her atm and like a sucker you spat out money till you got overdrawn and she moved onto the next sucker.
I see what you're saying, but isn’t it harsh to paint the whole story with one brush? People are complex, and sometimes it’s more than just someone using another
In my day there is a name for what she was ! Living off you secure and safe ,no worries.even bringing with her baggage ( her daughter ) likely in the knowledge that she would looked after all her needs would be catered.for . But as you can see you would not be seen as part of a family.just a cash cow ! Think about it.

Let her real daddy pay for it all he's so wonderful.

I love the dramatic flair, but maybe we should add some peace and love to the freedom fight too, huh?
