I ended up buying the 1461 mono. I love them but now I’m scratching my head and going nuts because of the sizing. I’m a 8.5 i bought a size 9 with insoles. I am just not used to wearing a bigger shoe. I was told to size down but the size 8 shoes were so tight when I tried them in the store. I hope i made the right choice
Thats why! I was trying to figure out why the 1461 mono derbys and 1461 looked so different. Thank you for confirming its cause the 1461 is more dressy. Do you think it makes that much of a difference if I want to wear them with more casual fits?
Hey yes totally, the last is slightly different on mono vs regular, mono is def more sharper & original more rounder / buffed. I’d say depends as I use it with casual stuff too & mono looks great with both - I feel its more versatile but, the yellow on OG is iconic so whichever you choose it will be dope 💯 mono more Prada like reg more hipster vibes !!

Hi Bro, my Truesize is 9.5 US = 27.5cm, I don't know what size to buy for comfortable wearing because there are many comments on the homepage saying the shoes are very tight and I should buy 0.5 size bigger compared to my size ( that's mean i should buy 10 US.) . Can you give me some advice? I'm so grateful for that :(

hello, I'm planning to buy a pair but I'm confused about the size. for almost all the shoes I wear EU41. From what I have heard from other people is that they loosen up in some time so I should go for 1 size down (which will be a 0.5 size down in UK and US sizing terms). can you give me some advice?
Hey, nice choice so firstly mono has a different last / shape of the toe box (narrower compared to the regular yellow stitch 1461), imho at least at the time I got mine - which is true to my size of 44 EU it fits perfectly fine. I too wear 43 1/2 in some other boots but this can easily be fixed for my mono’s as it is a hard shoe to break in to so I would not recommend sizing down unless your heel slips. So essentially, if your heel is properly in place in 41 that is good, if it slides you can consider sizing down. I hope this helps -

Heyy, I feel they fit TTS with a lil wiggle room, if you have wide wide maybe size up! But for regular wide (mine on wider side) these should be TTS!! Hope it helps
Hey, so I used a shoe cloth & tad of wax and just rub around evenly & in circles to create a matte buff, while I use some mink & spit shine if I want a glossy look !!

Hey they are different, this is mono smooth 1461 - if you have a half size & wide feet maybe better to go with 25.5 cm !! Hope it helps
