Okay buddy i reinstalled everything, this time everything is up to date. The game is launching but the mods are not working and there is no launch option button showing. Please help.
This process worked for me after a couple restarts of my PC and everything else but cant account for crashing which i'm pretty sure it will. I did not download the unite mod i used my own liking mods off nexus and finally got them to work. The modding for this game is atrocious. Typically you would put everything into your main game directory (1st mistake before watching) but i guess it works better as a stand alone file. Thank you Krayzee for this video it helped. If a mod is not working for you it is either incompatible with other mods (google search someone might have the same issue) or it is outdated and the modder has not updated to work with the current version. Quick glance over on when the mod was last updated could give you a better idea of certainty whether or not the mod will work. Do not put more than 2 mods in at a time incase of incompatibility and you dont have to revert your game because of a simple 2 second take out of a file fix.

I don't quite understand with "Where NFS is installed there's an .orig file. Delete the .exe that's in the folder and change the .orig file to an .exe by changing the extension by renaming the .orig part to .exe" Lets say i have orig.exe and .exe .... I need to rename Orig.exe to .exe and delete the first .exe ? or something ? and somehow i don't have Launch Option setting
Just forget the orig troubleshooting. First of all I tried to mod the game using latest version of the frosty which is 1.0.6.3 and I couldn't pull it to launch the game with mods. So I highly recommend to use frosty version 1.0.6.2 And delete the .orig file and go back to steam if you purchased the game there and go to games properties on steam, verify the files. Maybe there will be some missing files, if there is something missing steam will start automatic download. Then start with all the fresh files, frosty 1.0.6.2 and latest version of the datapathfix if you own the game on steam. After that delete moddata folder, delete the frosty folder on localappdata using "run' Then start the modding process.

The only things that show up after installing the unite 3.5 mod is the visuals packs and minimalistic hud. Frosty cant detect the .fbpack files. So the handling and lowering options dont show up

Delete that file and verify the game files on Steam. Then there will be a small download on Steam. After the download go to installed directory and take a back of nfs heat.exe and nfsheat old file. Then run the mod manager and launch the game. Check if that .orig file creates again, then delete that file again and paste the backed up files to the installed directory. Then hit launch again in the mod manager

@EsBeDeSBD clear all the modded files and verify your game files on steam. Make sure to delete nfsheat.orig file in the installed directory if there is that mentioned file. And restart the pc and redo the process. Sometimes it works when you change the installed hdd or ssd

Then restarted the PC, re-integrated nfs heat into Frosty, but this time without the datapath fix, which means I've already made a step further. When I press launch, it briefly loads the EA app so that the game is being prepared, then the window closes, then nothing happens, a short time later in the Steam launcher I see that nfs heat is being executed and then a few seconds later it pops The EA app opens very briefly, closes again and nfs heat is no longer running in the steam launcher, so it basically turns itself off again. Then nothing else happens.
Works exactly as you have showed it, except I can't switch between handlings to try out, if I wanted to switch from arcade to simcade I had to redo everything again...
I have noticed that too. Since frosty 1.0.6.3 came out, mods seems to be unstable. my mods only worked with 1.0.6.2 , and it gives me lots of not launching moments

My game was crashing and nothing worked so I rebooted my PC BUT kept my personal files, I downloaded it again and now it doesnt even boot up the game. Did you unzip the optionals folder in unite 3.5 folder? Otherwise frosty can’t locate the weather files. If not, you are using wrong button to import weather files, use add mods button

@@KR4YZEE Fix For Stuck on EA App: So you want to go to your need for speed heat directory, and find the "ModData" folder, delete it, and restart frosty mod manager, then launch again. Fix for no mods loaded when game opened: So you want to open frosty mod manager and launched the game with it, after it launches to the main menu, exit the game, and open the game with steam / ea (wherever you bought it from). These fixes should help!
The video was created using Frosty 1.0.6.2. However, the current version is 1.0.6.3, and in this latest version, there is no need to modify launch options. Please inform me whether you can launch the game with or without mods. If the game launches without mods, I have a solution.

No just download and extract if it is zipped to somewhere in your pc. Then open frosty and press add mods button. Then apply the mod to the mod order. Keep it under main unite mod files

What is the controller that you are using to play the game?

Try using the Dualsense controller with DSX app in the Steam. I’m playing with the ps5 controller with DSX

You need a legitimate copy of the game.
it doenst work for my, the game starts not from the fodmanager and when im started manually its not modded. ive gone trought all steps 🙁

@EsBeDeSBD clear all the modded files and verify your game files on steam. Make sure to delete nfsheat.orig file in the installed directory if there is that mentioned file. And restart the pc and redo the process.
Sometimes it works when you change the installed hdd or ssd

@@KR4YZEE So, I've now tried again, frosty and deleted all the files in the specified folders. Then restarted the PC, re-integrated nfs heat into Frosty, but this time without the datapath fix, which means I've already made a step further. When I press launch, it briefly loads the EA app so that the game is being prepared, then the window closes, then nothing happens, a short time later in the Steam launcher I see that nfs heat is being executed and then a few seconds later it pops The EA app opens very briefly, closes again and nfs heat is no longer running in the steam launcher, so it basically turns itself off again. Then nothing else happens.
Works exactly as you have showed it, except I can't switch between handlings to try out, if I wanted to switch from arcade to simcade I had to redo everything again...
I have noticed that too. Since frosty 1.0.6.3 came out, mods seems to be unstable. my mods only worked with 1.0.6.2 , and it gives me lots of not launching moments

It doesn't work for me and idk why. Its probably because im running windows 11 not 10 and if its not because of that than it simply doesn't work. I already tried 4 times and tried to fix it but it still doesn't work. And for some reason i cant run the app as administrator and it still gives me the same error everytime.😭😭

Awesome video! It worked perfect! Until I did a reboot of my pc.. My game was crashing and nothing worked so I rebooted my PC BUT kept my personal files, I downloaded it again and now it doesnt even boot up the game. It loads and just when its about the open the game, EA pops up on my screen and the game cancels to boot.
Any suggestion how to fix????

Weather files dont show up to import them into frosty, but everything else works just fine. Can you help me?
Did you unzip the optionals folder in unite 3.5 folder?
Otherwise frosty can’t locate the weather files.
If not, you are using wrong button to import weather files, use add mods button
When I press Launch Steam and EA launcher gets closed and restartet the game itself wont boot - any help?
Check the installed directory of the game and see if there any file with .orig extension

It didnt work, everytime I press launch it opens the EA app and stays on the home page. I tried switching the launch options but yet it still isnt working. But 3 months ago I was able to launch UNITE with the EA Play subscription, I have no clue what is going on, did anyone find a fix for this?

@@KR4YZEE Fix For Stuck on EA App: So you want to go to your need for speed heat directory, and find the "ModData" folder, delete it, and restart frosty mod manager, then launch again.
Fix for no mods loaded when game opened: So
you want to open frosty mod manager and launched the game with it, after it launches to the main menu, exit the game, and open the game with steam / ea (wherever you bought it from). These fixes should help!

No just download and extract if it is zipped to somewhere in your pc. Then open frosty and press add mods button. Then apply the mod to the mod order. Keep it under main unite mod files
