- WOW!!! I really messed up video one in the series. I probably should have actually built the survival kit in my :Build a 72 hour emergency survival kit: video but...here you go version 1.5
The next video will be a continuation of the basic 72 hour kit and focus on people with small children, special needs individual and this with medical conditions requiring special accommodations.In the third video, I will be joined by Erin @prepperqueen where we will face-off in building a bugout bag!
The bugout bag is designed to get you from your house to a location outside the danger zone or from work, school or other location back to home. This will be fun to join up with a fellow prepper. The best part is that our viewers will determine who is built the best bag!

I'm not criticizing your setup, just some ideas. I would do one bucket for food, and one for socks, medicine, things like that. If combined into one bucket, I would put the food on top.
This is all good. Everyone will create their kit differently and according to their needs. I see why you want the food on top. It is easier to get to. My wife and I have food in one kit and we each have a bucket with clothes and other stuff in teh other. Thanks for the reply. I am working on the next video in the series about preparing for those with medical limitations, children and special needs!
