Bumblebee Tuna used to put a mini folding spork in each flavored tuna pouch but they're phasing them out. The "little knife thing" on the para cord bracelet is for use with a ferro rod fire starter. The bracelets used to have one built into the buckle but some have replaced the rod with plastic. You can buy a rod separately. Find a video on UA-cam on how to correctly use a ferro rod.
wife and i have 25+ years in the outdoors hiking camping etc . we figure our back packs would work for emergency bag also . each bag has clothes : 1 shirt 1 pants 1 shorts 3 pairs socks 3 underwear fleece jacket .insulated rain gear . our hygiene kits very basic tooth paste tooth brush baby wipes for washing and bathroom . wash cloth small towel small bottle of body wash . wife has some lady products . food : no can food heavy bulky we use things like mountain house freeze dry meals add hot water wait few minutes eat carry tuna or chicken packets rice oatmeal packets small fishing kit etc enough food for 3-5 days cooking stove that uses fuel tabs or sticks of wood .canteen cup fire kit folding saw fix blade knife . for water we use swayer mini filters 1 32 oz bottle shelter have a lite 2-3 man tent poncho . sleep system each has a sleeping bevy rated at 30 degrees emergency blanket . we each carry a head lamp small first aid kit . dont know if you done this yet to save space take some gear out of package one thing you really need to think about weight how far can you carry gear . trees wires blocking road , road washed out and you have to walk
Great video!!! We have a different setup for our emergency kit. My family has a survival belt kit or fanny pack in addition to our go bag & bugout bag/72 hour bag. Our go bag has our clothes, meds, hygiene kit, etc. Our bugout bag has our other emergency/survival gear. We keep these things together, but our go bag is also for hospital emergencies, where survival gear may not be advisable to bring.
