Cam and tune isn’t no 7k. Tuning on the new cars yes it’s a little bit more for the pcm to be unlocked but you can definitely do it reasonably inexpensive yourself if you have some knowledge of mechanics. I’m doing my own cam and fbo build on a 2012 challenger 5.7 Going to cost me 6500 altogether car included and that’s for a rebuilt motor and all the hardware and accessories you could need.
Also the tune is going to cost me 500$ quoted by a local tune shop here in Tempe Arizona. That’s with the price of the tune (6500) cam kit engine rebuild and car itself. I sent the heads to a machine shop as well as the motor and reassembling on my own. Let me know if you have any questions
Ts up there fasho😂 The cam package itself is $2k to $3k itself plus labor & a good tuner car fluids ect probably even more than $9k, That’s why people say you could’ve bought a hellcat but Imo building is way more cooler & better.🤷🏾♂️
