These are old school tools made using hard tempered steel virtually impossible to break, reminds me of when SIDCHROME was made in Australia,a socket set would last you a lifetime.SNAPON tools would be the equivalent of our Sidchrome back in the day. These socket sets would have been used by a lot of farmers in Europe on their equipment many years ago these would have been a valuable asset for them 🙋♂️
@giuseppelatina2640 You had the trust your life with tools like this. If you ever get stuck out of middle of nowhere where you have to fix your gear or get eaten by bears or freeze
@@reddogsaws I don't think it's the reason. Human life in the USSR was valued very little. Also, those tools are very possible to be damaged, when used incorrectly.
@radosawkapuscinski2808 almost all tools can be missued if they are in the right hands. That why snapon have the idiot tax on the warranty of there tools.v
I might not snapped one but I've snapped plenty of British ones over the years on old engines I don't think it matters what country it's from anything can break good or bad
Fascinating...thanks for posting! A female ratchet is not odd. Old 1930's American Craftsman Circle H Ratchets were the same. The screw on the side of the Ratchet does look interesting. Tension control?
I wouldn't be surprised if they copied those ratchets from Lend Lease equipment from the war which is funny because it's funny that they still make them today
LOL.. I've still got one of these... had it for more than 30 years and still works fine.
Better quality than the newer ones tbh 😂😂😂
@@alpharaptor7510 you definitely not breaking these
@@reddogsawsoh god no 😂
Unless you really try lol
@@alpharaptor7510 Baker bar with 2 m piece of water pipe might ask me how I know

@@doctorzvingo9321 I'm going to say they're probably better than the new Chinese ones but Chinese one's not much to go off

@rickshafer9595 it's not going to let go in any time soon, had no problem leaning on it
