@Martin Ramsbottom it’s not a problem. I’ve found also that on a typical flat straight I get all of 61mph(98km/h) in 4 gear but if I change to 5th the speed dips but it’s great in 5th for large hills, you can get quite high speed 67mph(107km/h). But yes the low is not particularly fantastic but good enough to get away on local road etc. Safe Riding my friend!

NHT looks a really nice bike for £2.5, problem is prices have suffered a upward creap on these "non" main brand bikes, Given that most main brands will offer 0% finance and have decent reliable dealer support, it is getting hard to justify the price difference, especially when you factor in depreciation . I still like the off brand bikes but they need to remember where they are coming from and that they often don't have a dedicated dealer network and still operate as supply agents

The Sym will be about 5mph ish slower and a little taller but the Benelli has a very low seat height anyway. NHT will be a better fit for you over the NHX I feel. What about the liquid cooled Sinnis Terrain instead? Same speed as the Sym, still quite a low seat height though. If you can get it, the Zontes G1 Scrambler would be a great choice.
