    Had the NH - T for just over 1 month now and absolutely love it. Done just over 800 miles and loved every one haha. Top speed I have had 69mph from it on a flat road and I'm 19 stone haha. All in all fantastic bike. I have passed my test now though so onwards to bigger machines :)

      @Martin Ramsbottom no it’s because it’s just a short gear ratio that’s all. Just have to gear up earlier

    • @parkertek1002
      @parkertek1002 2 роки тому

      @Martin Ramsbottom it’s not a problem. I’ve found also that on a typical flat straight I get all of 61mph(98km/h) in 4 gear but if I change to 5th the speed dips but it’s great in 5th for large hills, you can get quite high speed 67mph(107km/h).
      But yes the low is not particularly fantastic but good enough to get away on local road etc. Safe Riding my friend!

    I'd be very cynical about a 125cc adventure bike if I hadn't borrowed a mates 125 Varadero about 12 years ago. I was a courier' using a VFR 800 at the time and I was pleasantly suprised at how useable the Varadero was in and around town. Motorways were a bit of a chore but doable. I ended up offering to buy his bike for work as the fuel cost savings would have been amazing. He didn't want to sell he liked it so much. Moral of the story; don't knock 125's.....they're just fine and can be fun too.

    NHT looks a really nice bike for £2.5, problem is prices have suffered a upward creap on these "non" main brand bikes, Given that most main brands will offer 0% finance and have decent reliable dealer support, it is getting hard to justify the price difference, especially when you factor in depreciation .
    I still like the off brand bikes but they need to remember where they are coming from and that they often don't have a dedicated dealer network and still operate as supply agents

    • @presterjohn71
      @presterjohn71 5 років тому

      A lot of the price bump is the stuff that they have had to upgrade to make them legal since Euro4 came out.

    • @charlesuk5358
      @charlesuk5358 5 років тому +1

      @@presterjohn71 fully agree, but the companies need to make sure they support the dealers , and find better dealers in the first place, i switched my son from sinnis to suzuki purely down to lack of dealer network, the dealer was poor even from the point of PDI, and being 30 miles away made getting servicing a pain, and it still thing that all but one bike repair place here will not even look at non main brand bikes.
      They still have a long way to go if they want to survive long term, but i guess as they dont actually make them its not an issue just as long as they make enough to live off

    • @presterjohn71
      @presterjohn71 5 років тому

      @@charlesuk5358, I think with Chinese bikes you always go for the brand that is in your city. I wanted an AJS but in my area it's Sinnis, Mash and SYM, so that's who I realistically should choose from.

How does this compare in size / seating position? Unfortunately I don't have one in stock in my country at the moment, but expected soon. I'm wondering if I should choose this one over benelli.. Benellis are in stock. But SYM will come with abs and a bit cheaper.

      The Sym will be about 5mph ish slower and a little taller but the Benelli has a very low seat height anyway. NHT will be a better fit for you over the NHX I feel. What about the liquid cooled Sinnis Terrain instead? Same speed as the Sym, still quite a low seat height though. If you can get it, the Zontes G1 Scrambler would be a great choice. Faster, better built, taller; but it is about 20% more money.

      I have the NHT and it has 1500km on the clock now. The worth of the bike depend on your purpose, for me it was purchase price, maintenance, reliability. In South Africa I paid R26 000 for it and my fuel consumption is 36km/l mostly highway use. Depending on inclination of the road I average between 95-105km/h. If I tuck down behind the handle bars I do a top speed of 120km/h at 10400rpm. Currently I am thinking of swapping my 15 sprocket, in front, for a 16 to get the rev's down since I do highway travel most of the time and it is full throttle all the way. As soon as you get used the is "power" then it is a stunning little motorbike. I weigh 76kg.

      Possibly a bit slow. I would look towards a liquid cooled bike. Zontes ZTU or G1 etc would be better.

    - 1st ride, poor battery connection, I had to call roadside assistance to the garage the 1st day I ever picked it up. Could happen, you can say.
    - After a month and say 800kms, distorted front disc brake that made the motorcycle hop at every stop, even the mild ones.
    - just recently gear gasket change, some oil was dripping down the thing.
    What's the deal. I know I didn't buy a Hayabusa, but you guys at Sym, we are talking about a 4 month old bike. Potential users, avoid it.

      Καλησπέρα, αναφέρεσαι στην x ή στην t? Γνωρίζεις αν δίνεται εγγύηση και για πόσο διάστημα; Είμαι ανάμεσα στην nhx και στην καινούρια Daytona/zontes g155. Καμιά γνώμη;

      @@giorgosantonopoulos2719 Γεια χαρά, την x έχω, και ευτυχώς έχει 2 χρόνια εγγύηση, ήδη με έχει κουράσει. Η g155 μου έκανε κι εμένα κλικ και θα επέλεγα αυτήν αν είχε βγει τότε, έστω για αυτή τη μικρή διαφορά ιπποδύναμης. Είναι και αρκετά πιο όμορφη κατά τη γνώμη μου. Επομένως με γνώμονα την εμπειρία μου με την x, θα έλεγα σε κάποιον να επιλέξει κατευθείαν κάτι άλλο. Πάντως και με τις zontes δεν ξέρω τι παίζει από θέμα αξιοπιστίας, δύσκολα βρίσκεις πληροφορίες στο ίντερνετ. Η επόμενη δική μου μάλλον θα ξεφύγει από αυτή τη σειρά μηχανών, καλά να είμαστε, γιατί δεν μπορώ να ασχολούμαι συνέχεια με συνεργεία. Ο,τι και να αποφασίσεις, καλές βόλτες!
