I love nail videos. It’s so interesting to me how different everyone does nails. Some techs say don’t cut the cuticles while others do; others say file in one direction while others say file in a sawing motion 🤯. Either way the conflicting information still makes for interesting videos.

I went to mancuring school and where I'm from its legal to use nippers to cut cuticles and we are also taught not to file in a sawing motions so it be really interesting to see so many ppl techniques and stuff

Thanks Maria, will love to keep doing it but UA-cam slashed payments to Channels to less than half of what we were getting and me having a Salon with dozens of clients and to make weekly videos take days with all the editing and recording… They went from $500 per month to less than $200 even with more subscribers and views while they are promoting empty content about cats and trans makeup…🙄🌸💕🌸

Take cotton balls soaked in acetone and apply them to the tops of your nail beds. Wrap them in tin foil. Leave on for like 5-10 mins. You should be able to use a wooden cuticle pusher and scape off the dip powder, if it doesn’t come off all the way.... repeat the process

How do you cut cuticles with out cutting clients
You need to push the cuticles back and cut the excess but not the completely-whole cuticle, always leave a tiny amount. Remember, practice make everything perfect eventually...😉

I don't like using the Cuticle cutter what else can I use that doesn't hurt
The use of the cutter does not and is not supose to generate any pain or discomfort...if is happening to you, you should change manicurist right away. 😉🌷💕🌷
A lady suggested that i (a man) get clear coat after mani/pedi. Today i went to barber college (to save money if i still disagree) while i didnt get toes polished i did allow for buff which i nvr do. But the clear coat on my hands, i f3el like it just covers up piss poor job. What do u think?

No amount of clear coat will be able to conceal a piss poor job, unless they clear coat the cuticles and everything else 😉
A couple of male clients of mine request the clear coat for personal taste after been getting one from other salon. I do not offer the coat and only give it if the costume ask for it.
A shine buff is more than adequate when doing mani to guys, but...times change, I guess 🙄
Nowaday guys get their eyebrows shaved and ‘sculpted’ just like women so...

40 minutes tops.

If the client ask for it I'll do it and have to be very careful since oils can detach the polish from the nails so I avoid creams touching the nails with creams. 😉🌺💕🌺

this is what I call "a real manicure"" no the 10 min Asian manicure. Sorry, but real bad experiences.
WRONG. you do not file the nails like that. You do from side to center three times then the other side. What you are doing there can injure a client and it is not the proper procedure.
NO, You are WRONG!(Since you used capital to be so 'emphatic' I guess I should do it back)
If you use a 180 grit file or higher you can file any way you want.
That Outdated tip from the 50's is similar to the 3000 miles oil change tip also from the 50's.
You file the way you claim if you use a 100 grit file or less grit, and nobody should ever use those rough grit files if they want to avoid damaging the nails. 😉
