These videos are so incredibly helpful to learn your way around the software - and a real fun way to learn, too! Damn I wish I could give more than one like, I feel like giving one every few minutes...
Omg I had a lot of fun doing this. Honestly, thank youu!! You are a good teacher for infinite painter bro!!! You definitely deserve more views and followers 🎉 keep going like this !!
I bumped into this video because I'm currently fighting the "need" to buy an iPad to finally use Procreate (I'm not an Apple fan, but I like drawing), so I decided to learn Infinite Painter, as it looks like it's one of the more similar apps for Android! I'm on the trial week right now, but after following this tutorial, I'm thinking of actually buying it, as I really enjoyed this video...I'm actually about to start a second tutorial of yours *.* Thanks a lot for your tutorials!
RIGHT!?? 😁 I had fun going thru ALL of the brushes!!! OMG my mind 🤯 from this app!! I'm a newbie in digital creating, and found this at 3am .... I'm in total AWE!!!
Just checked back in here to continue with many more awesome tutorials by Joel Designs. Glad to see there are other newbie digital creators like me enjoying Infinite Painter. I'm also learning Affinity programs and bought Clip Studio Paint recently too. They're all great additions to your tool belt on your journey as a creative professional. Cheers ❤
Pressing on the image to get those 3 dots at 1:29 so you can adjust it doesn't work for me all the time. I'd say maybe 1 in every 10 times I try to do it. Am I doing something wrong, or is it the app?
@joeldesigns I don't have instagram dude, tbf the 3 dots to adjust what you've drawn isn't the only problem Alot of the filters don't work past a certain % for instance the blur filter, when you put it upto 80% it blurs and blends the images, but when I go past 60% it just starts to remove the colour from the image. Apparently it's a mali gpu problem.
Think of a pile of transparent layers with paint on them - the painted areas of the ones on top block out the layers beneath them. So, if you want the sun "behind" the mountain peak, the sun layer has to be below the mountain peak layer. The clouds in the background so they are on a lower layer. The trees are visible over top of the other layers so they are above the other layers.
@@joeldesigns Thank you, but if I hold my pen down at the end of the shape I can move the endpoint around. But tapping inside the arc does nothing, no bezier handles. Once the pen is lifted from the endpoint it's just pixels on paper.
@@richardjecooke8036 Hi, sorry to dig up your comment I'm having the same problem, and after following Joel's other tutorials, I can see it does this with the SolidFill brush, but if you use the Monoline, you can get the same curve and then just fill your shape. Just out of curiosity, what tablet are you using ? I'm on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and it seems to be the source of all my problems (blur doesn't go other 60% also).
Personally I really dislike the ads, it doesn’t feel professional like the best apps out there when you see everything is Available if you watch ads. Depending on where you like it could be expensive but here in the UK and US it’s fairly priced and it’s just one payment
@@joeldesigns ok ok it is one time payment thank you i thought it will be monthly payment. Ok 😅 i will by it right now thanks sorry for stupid issue from my comments 😅
I’m sorry but you’re completely wrong. I feel like you have just skipped over the intro. I give you the palette. I literally tell you that at the beginning. I then show you how to bring in the palette. I always tell you what colour I’m using. I’ve been doing this a long time and the basics of telling the viewer what colour I’m using is a fundamental part of what I do.
@@joeldesigns Yeah Sorry I am. I didn't know how to download it at first 🤦♂️ I'm almost finished with your other tutorial, My bad bro lol And your videos are VERY Chill as well, Keep up the Great content bro!

I’m not sure of the issue. Could you message me on Instagram and show me what the issue is and I might be able to help

I unfortunately have the same problem here! (I don't have Instagram either.)
Hi why i cant move the my solid fills and no 3 white dots can't adjust
Sorry whats the actual issue?
THIS WAS AMAZING!!!!!
Ahhh awesome 🤩
Hey Joel, can you tell me why you keep moving the layers about, I’ve googled but they only tell me how not why…love your stuff man…thanks
Hey 👋 based on how layers work you need to stack them accordingly. Sometimes a reorder is needed. It’s just the basics really of digital art
Think of a pile of transparent layers with paint on them - the painted areas of the ones on top block out the layers beneath them. So, if you want the sun "behind" the mountain peak, the sun layer has to be below the mountain peak layer. The clouds in the background so they are on a lower layer. Tapping on the shape after I've drawn it doesn't show any handles. How do you do this please
Open a canvas and go to the top right 3 dots. Then settings and scroll down to brush settings and make sure shape detection is on 😀
@@joeldesigns Thank you, but if I hold my pen down at the end of the shape I can move the endpoint around. But tapping inside the arc does nothing, no bezier handles. Once the pen is lifted from the endpoint it's just pixels on paper.

Same problem here and shape detection is on. 😢
@dianatebraake3614 Same! Did you ever solve it? I think it might be a bug in the software. It detected it once, but 99% of the time it won't.
What tools do you use to edit the lines in the minutes 2:22
I select the tool for the first hill
Thanks a lot. Would you please tell what brand of model or stylus pen you are using?
iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil 2

Plz tell on how to turn on predictive stroke
Whats predicted stroke? Have you also looked at their in app manual, its really good and extensive

Smoothing. Tap on a brush and go to it setting and increase smoothing 😀
clipping is quite useful
Very 😀😀
Great work 🤍 Make a video explaining the shortcuts
Thank you so much 😊
thank you!
You're welcome!
Try learning filter and blend tools for various graphics
Like what? 😀
@@joeldesigns like a mockup or similar to 3d, for example using a combination of filters and blending options
I can't change the size of the arcs though, I'm using a Samsung galaxy tab s6 lite
I’m not entirely sure what the issue is I’m afraid
i tried the 7 days free demo but got finished before i started to draw but i tried to understand how this app works tho
this software is bit expensive for start if they provide the add with it like ibis paint that will be even a good thing right.
