Laurie Metcalf in Scream 2 is unhinged camp perfection. Dermot on the other hand is...yikes. To me the difference between a good and a bad camp or over the top performance is if I can see the actor trying too hard. For me, Metcalf isn't trying at all, it comes out naturally. But I can definitely see Dermot trying, and he fails. As for Ghost Maureen, it's 100% a nightmare. Sidney wakes up right after it. Ghost Daddy Billy to me was so dumb, because it seemed like such an old fashioned and out of touch way of showing someone's trauma or mental illness.
He’s truly the worst Ghostface for me based on performance alone. “CAUSE EVERYBODY DIES SAM!” His laughter during the reveal, “you’re a killer JUST LIKE YOUR FATHER!” Eek!
Laurie Metcalf had me walking out of the cinema extreamly satisfied back in the day. I always loved her and I wasn’t expecting her to be anymore than a cameo bit part. I shreiked with delight when she walked out with the gun.
Yeah he was awful. I really enjoyed the 3rd act but his performance was distracting. Laurie's camp nailed it. She even had shades of Jackie from Roseanne in that performance...lol
Totally agree! Loved, loved, loved her portrayal of Mrs. Loomis. You really see where Billy got it from. Detective Bailey’s unhinged’ness really came out after Sam mind f’ed him…and in the beginning when he said “who gives a f about movies.”
I enjoyed the opening to Scream 6 but it would've been more interesting l to see a Scream movie where one of the killers is revealed from the start and we see them infiltrate the friend group. I think we could do the Columbo approach only with a killer we could truly get behind. It would have to be Sam, Gale or possibly Kirby, and their motive would need to be really strong in terms of getting audience sympathy and making sense for their character without them simply becoming a really bad person. It could work for Sidney too but I doubt audiences would accept it. I have no idea what kind of plot and motive that would involve though, and unless it's done really well I think it's best to stick to the traditional whodunnit model. I also don't like the idea of having a reveal that shows that one killer took over from another halfway through, unless all killers were part of the protagonist group, until one got killed by another without us knowing who any of the killers were. At that point when Mindy notices the MO shift you would expect her to figure out the reason why, since it would coincide with a certain character's death, so it wouldn't be much of a mystery. So all in all, I think it's best just to stick to one or more main killer(s) on the same page from the beginning, and any wannabes should be limited to Jason-sized roles.

And that could retroactively make her the Ghostface that was following Sidney around town (that fans theorize to be Roman) from Tatum's yard to the grocery store in the 1996 original (since both Billy and Stu were at the video store/around the video store during those two scenes where we see Ghostface in the grocery store and in the yard sneaking around Tatum's place).
@@kevonrobinson-lf9zh I can see your point and would agree if Billy hadn't of already been arrested and detained under suspicion (and getting released), so I think he'd want to avoid being seen in costume by cops (if the cops had seen a Ghostface walking around in day light following Sidney, they'd have gone after them straight away). If it was revealed that is was Sam and Tara's mother, we can retroactively theorize that if she was caught by cops she could pass it off as a prank on Sidney (since in Sam's monologue in 5cream, Christina Carpenter was in love with Billy). Just like the bathroom attack at the school - I don't think that was Billy or Stu as both were seen outside the bathroom moments before the attack and the Ghostface was in there before Sidney and that could also be revealed to have been Christina Carpenter. But if that's your view on it, I won't argue with you. Have an amazing day.
I think that the first movie did the title card situation best. It should be a scream leading into the title card, like when Casey Becker's mom let out that gut wrenching scream as the title card appeared
In Scream I remember the title card hits immediately, with the ringing phone. After Casey’s mom screams, it zooms into her on the tree, then cuts to Sid typing. Yes? Or am I crazy?
Really loved this show , I'm with Eddie on the love for scream 5 and the character development on the core 4 in S6 and really enjoyed Andre,s input to 👍👍👍
Liana Liberato said in an interview that there was a line in the script where they mention that they killed their mom because she wasn't on board with the plan. But it got cut.
I feel like the writers could have put in an extra plot point where we see that because of the injuries Gale sustained in the fifth film, the producers of her morning show said "hey, you need to take time off," and replaced her for a few months, causing her to feel irrelevant and run to her computer and start typing up a manuscript 😱
@@secondeye1574 Yeah it would have to be done right, like if it were mentioned by one of the characters and then Gale explained it. Like if Sam said "Why'd you write that book, anyway?" and Gale angrily responded with, "I'm sorry, but that bullet from your so-called 'friend' gave my producers a reason to replace me with some new hot thing for a couple months. Do you know how hard it is to watch someone else doing YOUR job? I was angry and had nothing to do... so I did what I was best at."
13:10 girl you literally just said it was leaked to you b4 you saw it. some of us went in actually totally blind and didnt expect to be bamboozled in such kind of a sloppy way. Roman didn't have a cop dad who replaced his body with a cadaver somehow before anyone else got there, etc, the whole thing is just near impossible.
Honestly I loved Gales scene, it made the movie for me. I like that they acknowledge that she has never spoken to ghost face on the phone because she's not seen at the hero, she's literally the grey area.
It's so confusing to me as an Aussie hearing you talk about the bodega scene, because I have no idea what that is, I thought it sounded like some sort of gazebo 😂 I had to look it up, I would've called it a milk bar hahaha
can also vouch for the neve “mark who?” interview moment. it was during the press tour for 5cream. it might have been a fan/audience question on drew barrymore’s show, but i’m not sure. i am sure i saw it though….she had no idea who mark kincaid was and was very confused by the question.
I think the killer going after Sam’s therapist and the people around her like Anika, “Quinn” etc was them fuelling the rumour about Sam. All this stuff going out in the media adds to the conspiracy that it’s Sam who’s snapped and more people around her are dying. Even Kirby says the real killer could be someone obsessed with Sam being the next in line. A lot of issues in this film are the haphazardness of ideas and the inconsistency of threads following through
I love the point about the musical cues, so accurate. Kirby got that hero music. For all of the face heel turn predictions we all make before every movie, they never do it, which is the right choice. You can kill them(or not) but don’t bastardize their character.
Going into the film I was a little worried after reading that the writers were inspired by Jason takes Manhattan which was not a very good film in the series but I thought they did a good job in that respect. They had the film playing on a TV, and the whole convenience store scene was a great homage to the diner scene
19:30 Terrible at the part when Tara is STEALING HIS COP CAR he is 15 feet away like, “what are you doing, no stop😒”. Bruh, you’re right there, stop them, it’s not like you’re running across “Central Park”. As Courtney might say Central Perk lol
I’m surprised not many ppl thought Bailey (the father of psychopath Ritchie) could be crazy enough to kill his own daughter. I didn’t put it beneath him to do something like that as a move. After all, Jill allowed her own mother to die.
@@silentsaturn7604 I get you but what I’m saying is this Ghostface was hyped in the marketing as being “something different” and “never been one like me.” So it would have been shocking and effective if he was revealed to be a straight-up psychopath that favored his firstborn son (he makes a comment about the “special bond” they had) more than anything and just kept Ethan alive as a sort of replacement for the son he lost. Would that be too much toxic masculinity and misogyny? Maybe but after all he is the villain that we’re supposed to want to see fail/die in the end.
Omg when she said her brother died I thought it was her and her dad too. I thought maybe there was a reason for her to bring that up but then I got confused when she “died” but then my daughter was like she could be faking and her dad is a cop. We both didn’t suspect there’s was three and it was Ethan was confused cause he helped Mindy. Only time I guess right was in scream 2 with Mickey but not Nancy. Can’t wait to see your who killed who video.
I still missed Sidney, Neve, but I enjoyed this movie as it was. I like felt the loss of the first time not seeing/having her there. I have seen this movie 4 times too.
I've taken my husband to c 4, 5 and 6. He's not a scream or horror fan so I would always ask him what he thinks. 4 and 5 he said they were dumb but he said he liked this one just to much violence 😂 he's very much like Maureen in scream 2
I was actually genuinely surprised with the reveal in this one. I called 5creams right off the bat. But I didn't think that the cop was a killer. And I certainly didn't see him being richies dad. When he found out that Quinn "died" I felt bad for him, he didn't seem like he was faking it. And they actually got me with making us think Kirby was a killer. Idk, I thought the reveal was way better then scream 5.
agreed and having 3 killers was different. also having them all survive was different as usually more people are killed. and the subway scene was a great suspense moment.
I avoided spoilers thankfully so I didn't see Bailey either, I was suspicious of Quinn at first because she mentioned her dead brother but when she died I didn't think anything of it
I honestly really enjoyed Scream VI. The Killers were very predictable and their motives were quite stereotypical and redundant of Scream 2, but overall I have enjoyed these two new Scream Films.
i stayed away from anything about the movie before i saw it (even trailers and spoiler-free reviews), but i guessed quinn and ethan almost as soon as they showed up. and though i didnt mention it to my sister until afterward, i got a feeling it'd be the cop, too. just based on look somehow (maybe it's that he reminded me of the agent guy in The Simpsons Movie who talks about going mad without power)
Hello Zack, would you be interested on doing your next podcast about The Original Terminator, which is arguably a sci-fi, action & Horror movie, with one of the greatest, and most in intimidating in only the first one, performance by Arnold Schwarzenegger and one of the best final girls in Sarah Conor.
Ok so what if the Scream 3 in Scream VII isn't that Sam has a half brother but that her mother had something to do with Billy and Stu's murder spree? Just a thought. I enjoyed 6, my biggest problem was Gale. At the end of 5 she told Sidney she wasn't going to write a book about Amber and Ritchie yet fast forword to this movie and she's basically back to scream 2 take no prisoners, to hell with what other people thought about her.
Opening Scene: I always suspected Samara was either going to be the opening kill or the killer, so when opened with her I knew she was dead. Toni's voice bugged me because I recognized it but I forgot he was in the movie so he was revealed I was like, "You're going to be the Ghostface? You sure you're up for it?" and then when we got into his apartment I thought the killer was Sam and she was revenge killing because of their connection to Richie. And when we got the "Who gives a fuck about movies?!" *slash* I was in for the ride.
If I were writing Scream 7 I would switch things up a bit and have two killers targeting Sam and Tara in different places. I mean the end of this movie resolves with Sam “letting Tara go” which can be assumed she’ll give her some space, maybe even move away. This could resolve the oddness of everyone being together at once AGAIN. Split them into smaller groups that for somehow have to come back together in Act 3
The reason Amber and Tara where changed from being in a gay relationship was because Jasmin Savoy Brown is queer and the directors decided to make Mindy queer instead and they didn’t want to have several characters be Queer
The biggest gripe for me in this movie is the fact that most of the people attacked should not have survived. I get that its Hollywood but its just plain ridiculous that these characters would survive that level of brutality and trauma. The writers and directors clearly wanted to boost the emotional response but didn't have the balls to kill any of the core characters.
The ghostface reveal was so obvious - when they mentioned Quinn’s “brother” died I knew immediately it was ritchie. Also it was obvious quinn wasn’t dead since they never showed her death. It would’ve been more interesting if the therapist or even Kirby was the killer. Really disappointing ending - also how did so many of the characters get stabbed yet not die….? Mindy, gale, chad….
@Michael 92 Somehow Mindy was so taken down by a slice to the arm and let her girlfriend die a horrible death, but then she’s stabbed a few times proper on the subway and then is fine. So silly
@Michael 92 No one was stabbed 50 times in this film either. But Dewey shouldn't have survived Scream 2. He was stabbed multiple times and lied there for HOURS bleeding out. At least Chad got medical help rather quickly. I find Chad's survival more likely than Dewey's. The fact is people in real life have survived much worse. This is a fictional movie, not a documentary. People shouldn't watch it expecting reality.
The next killers will be Leslie Macher and Christina Carpenter lol😂. Christina lost her relationship with her daughters over all this and Leslie lost her brother and her son
After watching it once, I think my rating is 1, 2, 5, 6, 3, 4. Maybe after a couple of rewatches and another full franchise binge I’ll be more solid in it.
On the roommates v. lovers issue: I think the debate came to light after a guest on Ryan C. Shower’s spoiler review podcast episode mentioned the fake out killer had a rainbow flag on his backpack.
Three Hosts, Three Killers, Three Cherry Picks lol I really love this franchise despite any to all their flaws, I just enjoy these movies. I enjoy you guys pointing them out, so I'll definitely notice more that I didn't originally like why Gail and Kirby hadn't looked up Richie's family. I got hung up with why Sam didn't know Richie's family having dated him, but I walked myself back by Richie would have lied cus he was targeting her. Gail and Kirby should have known more about his family, so that's one that will stand out cus was the only thing that kept me from fully figuring out the tie these killers had together cus I found them all to be too obvious, even Ethan. I think it would be funny if Sam and Tara's mom is partially targeted to be the next killer because of her history with Billy and it comes out that she helped a little bit thinking it was all fun and games until the news report about how serious they were in targeting Sidney, thus saying she was the random Ghostface in the bathroom but she didn't mean any harm but that gets used against her. Not saying that's what I'm anticipating or expecting they'll do with the mother if they show Christina Carpenter in the next movie, but just an idea that's in my head and I wanted to share.
All three killers were easy to pick. Detective Bailey was the easiest far as his actions, Quinn with the fake out, and Ethan with color schemes and the Richie mannerisms and being conveniently accounted for absent or present.
It's such a pitty Zack that you came across the spolilers... :( I agree that Scream 6 has the weakest mystery'n'investigation sub plot , but still it's such a essential ingredient of Scream movies regardless of the execution...
I also had all 3 killers spoiled for me, but I think it was a blessing in disguise. I didn't have any expectations. So I couldn't be disappointed. I just let the film unfold and I really enjoyed it.
@@Joker_JAK Sure, lack of expectations can be a blessing :) Still, if I may choose I prefer not to get spoilers and get rid of any expectation while watching a movie second time around :))
I feel like Jason and Greg was the Original scream 2 esque Killers for this film. but the Main Killer interrupted that and made their own film with VI by killing them off
He is right. I saw the video as well. She didn't remember who Mark was. It was at some conference. But we don't really know if it's Mark Kincaid or not the same way we don't really know if Mindy and Chad's father is Joel. It's all theories. Jasmin and Mason don't seem to know that this is a theory because they said in an interview that they want The Rock to play their father. I was like, no, your dad's gotta be Joel.
I would love if they put two ghostfaces that don't work together and kill separately for their own reason. And then have ghostface vs ghostface fight just like Freddy against Jason or Sadako vs Kayako. That would be fresh and awesome.
I feel like everything that was weak in 5cream was done better in ScreaVI, & everything weak about ScreaVI was stronger in 5cream 😂 It's so strange. It's like the writers hopped on Reddit as soon as 5cream came out & took everything they read waaay too seriously. For guys who criticized toxic fandom in the last movie, they seem to try ridiculously hard to cater to those same toxic fans first before anything else (plot, characters, dialogue, etc) 😅
Maybe the reason the family killed the therapist was so the police wouldn’t detain Sam for what she told the doctor about having dark urges. They could also have read the file (offscreen) and confirmed that it would incriminate Sam so they just stole it. I think their (dumb) idea was to toy with Sam a little more before their finale move/reveal? Dumb but that’s the only thing I can think of
As much as I enjoyed Scream VI I was pretty undewhelemed with the reveal/motives. And it was such a bizzare feeling, since it happened for the first time in my life. You know, to be not impressed with Scream's big finale right away! I guess I had my expectations set too high. I was expecting something more radical and different. All that "I am somethign differetn" marketing, that "Who gives a fuck about movies?" line, faster and more visious killer, the shrine that turned out to be full of evidence and not props, the countdown with original killers' masks, it all felt like it's leading to something grander. And what I got was a Scream's 2 motive rehash with one killer that cheaply faked her death and one Avatar monkey dude killer who I thought is the worst "I am such a maniac" ghostface so far :) Massive plot holes and all lack of stakes despite ghostface being more brutal and violent doesn't help either. Don't get me wrong, it's still a very good Scream movie. Sam and Tara were awesome, the whole core four is great, I loved the intense action sequences, I loved the ghostface portryal, I found opening kind of interesting, I enjoyed the melo drama. Second time around I liked the whole movie way way more, final act included. And I want to go to watch it on a big screen at least one more time. So there is hope I will love the new entry even more, only time will tell. At the very moment I think it's the weakest Scream, and the most issues I have with it lay in writing. Cheers guys! :)
How about Sam has a twin that she didntt know about and was the killer. Then that story arc is over. Then the next trilogy would be about Sydney's kids growing up and getting ghost face in their own lives
The Neve not knowing who Mark is interview is from Collider I believe. Its online. It was during Scream 5 press. Neve does not keep up with these movies. Which is fine and makes sense. She doesn't watch Scary movies. And a ton of actors don't watch themselves in movies.
Gale’s best line is when she tells Quinn GF “would you please hold”
Yeah the respond was funny as hell
Nah I love when Gal said "bitch last time I saw u was in glee club"😂😂😂
I believe the line is "can you hold please?" this is film class right?
Not going to lie, for half a second I got confused thinking "Quinn's Girlfriend?"

Nev Campbell didn’t know who mark was I seen that in a interview!!!!
They can actually reveal that Sam’s mum knew about Billy’s and Stu’s plan and actually helped them a bit.
That way it connects to the original film as well as the past two.
Sam technically is ghostface. She's just not on a murder spree. Sam kills for the good because I believe shes building towards her own legacy.
@@dylanjamieson4300 I believe it was Billy the entire time. Which makes since cause he would make sure Tatum and Sydney get ready for the party.
“Now I see red” and it’s Edward’s face laughing 😂❤
Great pod love when y’all talk scream ❤
I think that the first movie did the title card situation best. It should be a scream leading into the title card, like when Casey Becker's mom let out that gut wrenching scream as the title card appeared
Scream 4 had the best title card. There was a scream, a better logo, and an amazing song. Something to Die For by the Sounds.
In my opinion Scream 3 did it the best. and since Scream 3 the sequels try to copy that, but less succesful.
@@BenSlashes Scream 4 did a much better logo than Scream 3. And the song along kills all the rest.
In Scream I remember the title card hits immediately, with the ringing phone. After Casey’s mom screams, it zooms into her on the tree, then cuts to Sid typing. Yes? Or am I crazy?
@@Maxwell_FromTheLand yes you are correct
Really loved this show , I'm with Eddie on the love for scream 5 and the character development on the core 4 in S6 and really enjoyed Andre,s input to 👍👍👍
Liana Liberato said in an interview that there was a line in the script where they mention that they killed their mom because she wasn't on board with the plan. But it got cut.
I really enjoyed Andre's contribution to this and I actually have the same ranking!
She was shot in the second one stabbed in Scream 4 for couple times shot and stabbed in Scream 5 stab some more in 6 she got f***** up
13:10 girl you literally just said it was leaked to you b4 you saw it. some of us went in actually totally blind and didnt expect to be bamboozled in such kind of a sloppy way. Roman didn't have a cop dad who replaced his body with a cadaver somehow before anyone else got there, etc, the whole thing is just near impossible.
If you didn't see them getting killed, it's a major red flag.
Honestly I loved Gales scene, it made the movie for me. I like that they acknowledge that she has never spoken to ghost face on the phone because she's not seen at the hero, she's
literally the grey area.
It's so confusing to me as an Aussie hearing you talk about the bodega scene, because I have no idea what that is, I thought it sounded like some sort of gazebo 😂 I had to look it up, I would've called it a milk bar hahaha
I'd call it a corner store or convince store here in Canada
Watching movie now will be back later 😂 good so far!
One of my biggest gripes was the the whole thing with the gun at the end but all in all I actually really enjoyed it
I saw Jason as sexual attracted to the professor he killed.
can also vouch for the neve “mark who?” interview moment. it was during the press tour for 5cream. it might have been a fan/audience question on drew barrymore’s show, but i’m not sure. i am sure i saw it though….she had no idea who mark kincaid was and was very confused by the question.
I resonate with guy on the left in ordering 4 situations of the movie! Ghostface with shotgun - priceless!
Welcome Andre!
I love it when Zack says I wish. In regards to the shine being his bedroom.
@Michael 92 that's fucking cool!
This honesty is very refreshing.
Dermot Mulroney was channeling Mel Gibson after the reveal.
Going into the film I was a little worried after reading that the writers were inspired by Jason takes Manhattan which was not a very good film in the series but I thought they did a good job in that respect. They had the film playing on a TV, and the whole convenience store scene was a great homage to the diner scene
@Michael 92 mostly agree but I just chalked it up to the writers giving them the Dewey treatment for now. Always left dead but miraculously survives
@Michael 92 the same. Logical in the sense that it works, but predictable and repetitive
@Michael 92 yep. Ethan was the only one I had a question mark about until a little before the reveal
Poor Judy and Wes. I want them back
Have you guys noticed that Tara does catch on to Sam having these little illusions of Billy especially when she was touching the glass
I’m surprised not many ppl thought Bailey (the father of psychopath Ritchie) could be crazy enough to kill his own daughter. I didn’t put it beneath him to do something like that as a move. After all, Jill allowed her own mother to die.
His motive is to avenge one of his children though, so would be weird if he happily kills another.
I get having favourites but that's pushing it.
1:25:40 - 1:26:20 is gold
4 was ahead of its time
I was actually genuinely surprised with the reveal in this one.
I avoided spoilers thankfully so I didn't see Bailey either, I was suspicious of Quinn at first because she mentioned her dead brother but when she died I didn't think anything of it
@strifenineteen yeah when she mentioned her brother dying I audibly went "who's your brother?" But then I completely forgot about it 5 min later.
Mindy abandoned Anika. And everyone abandoned Mindy.
I would love a Zach Cherry Scream fan film!
It would be like Ritchie 😂 but good Ritchie
@@alejandroalvarado4178 Yes exactly 😂😂
@@alejandroalvarado4178 Ritchie's long lost good half brother director returning to close the new trilogy with one final Stab LOL
It would have been cool to have another pscho reference because quinn random hookup was in bathtub that would have in great scene
If Scream 7 comes out next year, it will come out the week before Halloween.
I honestly really enjoyed Scream VI. The Killers were very predictable and their motives were quite stereotypical and redundant of Scream 2, but overall I have enjoyed these two new Scream Films.
I like to pretend Sam and Tara’s mom is the cheerleader from the bathroom scene in the first scream. ❤ I just think that would be funny
Am I the only one that finds it annoying when Eddie calls them Scre-four-m or 5 Cream or Screa-vi? Lol
i stayed away from anything about the movie before i saw it (even trailers and spoiler-free reviews), but i guessed quinn and ethan almost as soon as they showed up. and though i didnt mention it to my sister until afterward, i got a feeling it'd be the cop, too. just based on look somehow (maybe it's that he reminded me of the agent guy in The Simpsons Movie who talks about going mad without power)
I’m now picturing the Mark scream 7 twist as not being Kincaid but Hoffman escaping and marrying Sidney
Where do you personally think the plot and setting for scream 7 will be? Still in the US? or ghost face abroad? lol
Ahhhh Eddie is a Virgo! Makes so much sense me too!
I knew Quinn was a killer the moment it wasn’t clear she was actually stabbed.
do who killed who in Scream 6
Zach is so shady. Love it.
The Neve/Mark thing is true, it’s on the collider interview with Neve, Court, and Melissa!!
Opening Scene:
I always suspected Samara was either going to be the opening kill or the killer, so when opened with her I knew she was dead.
Can we incorporate timestamps and chapters?
I missed Sidney in this one, it’s not nostalgia, I watched the series for the first time this week despite owning 1-4 because 5&6 are on paramount +
Scream 6 cherry picker is here!! Can’t wait to watch
Where can we find Andre's socials 😍
The reason Amber and Tara where changed from being in a gay relationship was because Jasmin Savoy Brown is queer and the directors decided to make Mindy queer instead and they didn’t want to have several characters be Queer
The biggest gripe for me in this movie is the fact that most of the people attacked should not have survived. I get that its Hollywood but its just plain ridiculous that these characters would survive that level of brutality and trauma. The writers and directors clearly wanted to boost the emotional response but didn't have the balls to kill any of the core characters.
btw maybe I missed it- but no one talks about Gail's hunk.. who was killed off hahah
like, we all assume she's so vain it wouldn't affect her lol
He was just her toy-boy of the month.
Those two would’ve been obvious too
The same way Sidney, Dewey, Gale, Kirby, and Randy (until Scream 2) survived all of their injuries.
Even if I were there I would have called Quinn out. “B*tch you ain’t dead, you one of the killers”
Neve Campbell literally doesn’t remember a goddamn thing about these movies 32:42
The next killers will be Leslie Macher and Christina Carpenter lol😂. Christina lost her relationship with her daughters over all this and Leslie lost her brother and her son
Omg andre has same ranking as me
After watching it once, I think my rating is 1, 2, 5, 6, 3, 4.
Maybe after a couple of rewatches and another full franchise binge I’ll be more solid in it.
Apparently there was a part taken out where Ethan mentions how him and Bailey killed his mum/wife cause she didn’t agree with the plan.
@@NationalSportsEntertainmentNSE Richie’s mum and potentially family may not have known about the killing spree until afterwards.
@@NationalSportsEntertainmentNSE “soaking wet guy”? When was Randy soaking wet? Do you mean scared?
this video coming out feels like a holiday
On the roommates v. lovers issue: I think the debate came to light after a guest on Ryan C. Shower’s spoiler review podcast episode mentioned the fake out killer had a rainbow flag on his backpack.
Three Hosts, Three Killers, Three Cherry Picks lol
I really love this franchise despite any to all their flaws, I just enjoy these movies.
I agree that Scream 6 has the weakest mystery'n'investigation sub plot , but still it's such a essential ingredient of Scream movies regardless of the execution...
I also had all 3 killers spoiled for me, but I think it was a blessing in disguise. I didn't have any expectations. So I couldn't be disappointed. I just let the film unfold and I really enjoyed it.
@@Joker_JAK Sure, lack of expectations can be a blessing :)
Still, if I may choose I prefer not to get spoilers and get rid of any expectation while watching a movie second time around :))
@@oskar_oskarewicz I've just seen more people say they are disappointed in the reveal whereas I really enjoyed it.

I feel like Jason and Greg was the Original scream 2 esque Killers for this film. but the Main Killer interrupted that and made their own film with VI by killing them off
“Who cares about the F*CKING movie!”
My favourite Ghostface line in 6 is “Who cares about the f*cking movies!”
Roger L Jackson is always top notch
And "now I see something red"
@@ghostfacelol12 Now I see some intestines.
“Who gives a fuck about movies?!” 🖤🤘🏽
I hated that line cuz Ghostface is just another killer without the movie obsession/inspiration
@@MrThemovie321 Why would you want another movie obsession Ghostface? There’s been plenty.
"It's applicable too..." 🤭
Maybe the reason the family killed the therapist was so the police wouldn’t detain Sam for what she told the doctor about having dark urges. They could also have read the file (offscreen) and confirmed that it would incriminate Sam so they just stole it. I think their (dumb) idea was to toy with Sam a little more before their finale move/reveal? Dumb but that’s the only thing I can think of
He was also Sam's alibi. They wanted to incriminate her, because now she has no alibi for the first 2 kills of the movie.
Just a guess though 🤔
As much as I enjoyed Scream VI I was pretty undewhelemed with the reveal/motives.
And it was such a bizzare feeling, since it happened for the first time in my life.
You know, to be not impressed with Scream's big finale right away!
I guess I had my expectations set too high.
I was expecting something more radical and different.
All that "I am somethign differetn" marketing, that "Who gives a fuck about movies?" line, faster and more visious killer, the shrine that turned out to be full of evidence and not props, the countdown with original killers' masks, it all felt like it's leading to something grander.
And what I got was a Scream's 2 motive rehash with one killer that cheaply faked her death and one Avatar monkey dude killer who I thought is the worst "I am such a maniac" ghostface so far :)
Massive plot holes and all lack of stakes despite ghostface being more brutal and violent doesn't help either.
I want the Roger L Jackson to actually play himself (or a version in Universe) in a future film.
The Neve not knowing who Mark is interview is from Collider I believe. Its online. It was during Scream 5 press. Neve does not keep up with these movies. Which is fine and makes sense. She doesn't watch Scary movies. And a ton of actors don't watch themselves in movies.
