This helped me with that button issue bro thank you so much for this, I was compiling it for the normal esp8266 board library, With the Deauther board manager it was done along with the define button commands.

Hey do you know if an oled display which uses SPI interface is also connectable via default mosi and sck pins and maybe with additional pin decelerations ?

You don't need to connect it to your laptop or pc. U could for example use a 3.3 battery yes. It just needs power in order to work.

SCL is D2 and SDA is D1. Did I put it wrong somewhere? Because more people made this mistake.

@@vehelix i don't really know how to explain but, 1 pin for the input (connected to the ESP8266) and 1 pin for the GND (I connected all the buttons GND wires to each other + display GND wire and connected 1 GND wire to the ESP8266)

I solved this problem by changing “erase flash: sketch to sketch + wifi settings” and then flashing it again

I am not sure about that, you will maybe need to modify the code to get the display working. But it shouldn't be that hard, just changing some pin numbers.

@@Roelox I just make it working with nodemcu v3 (ch340) with 12x12mm push button, sh1106 i2c.
Sometimes, it gets stuck on scanning.., or button not working, not showing display, each randomly occured. I dont know why, guessed the power is not enough.
That could be the problem yes, but sadly you can't give more power with a resistor.

I just used a standard USB cable, I think thats like 3.3 or 5 volt.

I think you selected ESP8266 somewhere in the config or settings. If you are using a Wemos d1 mini, make sure your settings are set to the Wemos d1 mini and not the ESP8266

You can use the LOLIN (WEMOS) D1 mini, but I don't know if there is any difference between a normal wemos d1 mini and the LOLIN one. deauther.com/docs/diy/supported-devices

I think it will be diffrent, because in my video I am using a I2C display and a display with 7pins is a SPI display. I've actually never done it with a SPI display, but u could take a look at this: deauther.com/docs/diy/display-setup

Those deuther are not working anymore since almost every modem now is 5ghz someone needs to step up the code and harware to keep up with the advance of wifi
Yepp.. But u could always buy a wifi adapter with monitor mode and packet injection that supports 5GHZ and deauth with aireplay-ng.

Sorry my bad, I realised the display is slightly different pin configuration. Mine has VDD, GND, SCK, SDA. I didn't even realise there is a difference
