For anyone looking for some solo tips, here’s what worked for me: - Sword is a must for clearing adds and maximizing DPS - Pistol / sniper for ranged DPS during meteor ability channel - For the majority of the fight, you can ignore the skeleton adds as much as possible, focusing on DPSing the boss with a sword while kiting skeletons - If you have 5-10+ skeletons grouped up, you can use your sword charge to kill all of them instantly - Make sure the boss is in line of sight of vertical cover for you to hide under during the meteor channel, that way you can continue to DPS with a ranged weapon - And of course, learn where the ammo crate / food crates are! My first time solo I died about 4 or 5 times throughout the course of the fight and it took 45-60 mins. Definitely room for improvement, but not bad :)
Good advice with the skeletons, I did it solo and now wish I didn’t pay much attention to them because they took up a lot of my time, outside of that I tried it with a pistol on the second stage and it seemed to drag, I prefer the blunderbuss but it still took me like an hour so I guess it doesn’t matter haha

It is in fact a pretty easy solo. I did it first try with an Eye of reach and a sword.Just train the AL over near an ammo box so you can reload your gun when you need to and keep sniping him from range. It takes about a half hour of constant sniping for him to go down. And like Syn said, bringing in a bunch of powder kegs from a fort can shorten that significantly. Just get the AL to walk up to your mountain of powderkegs and set them off, and you can shorten the time to take it down by at least half.

I spent the last 45 minutes doing the same over and over and over and he didn't die, he went down 2 times and then keep on coming back. I know It shouldn't be easy, but it's not hard, it's just tedious and time consuming and not solo friendly.

Dude i tried to solo the Red Ruth yesterday, constantly shooting her with pistol and sword dmg, probably was able to hit around 25 pistol shots plus 35 maybe more slash hits and didnt killed her, giving up at some point for lack of food. I wonder how many hits does it take to kill...

After 3 hours I successfully solo it and it felt like one of the best things in my life, saw all the loot, loaded everything on, took off and BAM IM INTRODUCED TO SOMETHING CALLED THE CHEST OF RAGE AND IT BLEW UP MY SHIP 😭😭😭😭😭😭 3 HRS DOWN THE DRAIN PLS CAN I GET ADVICE ON THAT STUPID CHEST AND WHAT TO DO WITH IT 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
I know it’s late but I have tips. It can sell for a decent amount so if you want to keep it put it on the front of the ship. If you just let it blow up it will just set the front on fire a little bit and then it takes one bucket of water to put out. I usually let it blow up because then it takes longer to recharge.
You pour water on it with a bucket to keep it cool but honestly it isn't worth it with how much water you have to pour on it especially if you're solo just in my opinion. I just started playing again and I don't think a lot of the chests are really worth it I don't understand why people don't just replay skull of siren song over and over unless you getting reputation up in the guild things
Once you hit 50 in 3 factions go and speak to to mysterious stranger located in the tavern. Once you speak to him you should get the PL clothes, Title and Shanty

You have to go buy all the level 50 ranks in the trading companies and then you can claim it from the clothing shop
