    400mv PEAK TO PEAK = 200mv PEAK x 0.71 = .142RMS

      Oh is that how it works? I thought it was .707 at peak to peak, so it's only the 0 to 200mV that's used! that makes a lot more sense now thanks ;)

      @@FrenchieFilms I remember, this old switches just snaps in. But with age they come loose and snap out really quick and the turntable comes to normal speed. Fortunately, your videos are fun to watch, so it's a pleasure to watch them at least twice! Cheers bro!

    Where do you put the probes to take your signal readings?

      After a coupling cap where there will be low to no DC voltage.

      Oh yes I meant that I'm connecting the probe to the amp in the signal path

      @@FrenchieFilms oh ok. Well for us dumb as me, that I a trying to follow de signal pad with only A DMV. It would be beneficial to know where are u conectan to. Thx 😊

      I can't exactly because every amp is different. Basically connect to the opposite side of the coupling capacitors before the next stage to see how it was amplified by the previous gain stage
