The handle on the drill press used for tap and die cutting is the best ideal piece of work I've seen. Done this many of times by turning the chuck by hand to only loose grip on the drill press handle and end up hitting myself in the face with the handle. I will build one of these chuck handle for mine now. Great video.
Thanks for the good information. I use a PVC front spider to hold cue shafts for tip replacing and shaping and have been brainstorming a back spider for a few days ... your video fills in some good ideas.
I'd like to get some large mt drills. I made a spider for my lathe. But I threaded it to screw into the head stock outboard end. Which reduced the bore dis. Like the way you did it.
