I saw Enzo at a booth at NY Comic Con. He was nowhere near any of the other wrestler's booths, and nobody was there meeting him. I honestly felt kinda bad. Wild how far he fell.

He isn’t the first superstar who’s gotten that sort of treatment. A friend of mine saw JBL at some sort of convention near him and nobody was meeting him apparently. Not surprised tbh.
I'm glad Cass got his life together somewhat and glad he took responsibility for what happened to him. AEW giving him another chance is a good thing.

Enzo is currently working with one of the champions in OVW. I like OVW but it's a training school. Enzo went from working with Cena to working with the champion of a wrestling school. Man, what a fall.

it's simple: Enzo couldn't wrestle and Cass couldn't talk.
They would have worked perfectly as a Manager/Client duo instead of a tag team. Enzo's singles push is partly to blame for the awful downfall of the cruiserweight title too. Instead of improving stories and giving it more spotlight, they split Enzo and Cass up to waste Cass and give Enzo the CW belt despite the fact he could barely wrestle and was even smaller than the smallest wrestlers on 209.
They were entertaining.... most entertaining tag team in wwe... goldberg got over and he couldnt do nothing...

Cass can talk just fine. He aint the rock or stone cold but he holds up just fine with the likes of other bores like adam cole
I thought Enzo was extremely entertaining but the extremely salty wrestlers/co-workers of his seemed jealous. The guy with the mustache (i forgot his name) looked like he tried to intentionally injure Enzo.

- Enzo was known to be afraid of heights and at that time, had a very bad attitude backstage, so this was seen as a way to punish him;
- WWE were pushing hard for their new Shark Cage toy playset, so that's why it was used so often in that period (with Jericho and Owens too)
I miss Enzo and cass ppl wasn’t messing w Enzo backstage but even tho he couldn’t wrestle he boosted the cruiserweight division . That false allegation was the nail in his coffin

Literally every match with cruiser weights was exactly the same. A bunch of lame spots with the same gymnastic stunts and jumping over the ropes every match. Seems like a bunch of mediocre wrestlers were just being salty.

They should've just made him the manager for Cass. Cass was a big dude and could wrestle decently well but wasn't super interesting as a character. He needed a manager anyways so you might as well keep him with the guy he works really, really well with.

I do too, they were an entertaining duo who worked so well together and each made up for the others short comings splitting them up was a mistake and should have very least put him in a Heyman type role and brought in someone else to wrestle with big Cass, they could have been a scumbag version of the dudley bros I was also a mark for the Guido tongue and cheek board walk scumbag gimmick
I love watching Big Bill in AEW now. I think he got humbled and learned a lot, and I'm a big fan of the angle with the tag team duo. He's gotten so much better on the mic and in the ring.
Also, the door thing is funny. I don't really blame him if he thought it was a prank lmao

when cass faced daniel bryan at 2018 money in the bank. you can visibly see bryan tell and move cass physically around their match. after that, he had no business being in the main event at that time.
Met those guys before they split. Cass was nice. Enzo was busy signing autographs on autopilot so he didn't speak up. Still got a pic with them, so that was good. Wish them both well.

I felt Enzo joining the cruiserweight division and taking the title from Neville so fast was its downfall. The division with Neville, The Brian Kendrick, Drake Maverick, Cedric Alexander, Lio Rush and (when he wasn't being an ass) Austin Aries was awesome.
But it worked cuz you needed that guy the fans wanted to see get beat

Man honestly i feel bad for Cass he was just a guy that made risky bad choices. The door and the midget and drinking being a common risk choice, he thought he'd come up from both of those first incidents, they just ended up digging him a deeper and deeper hole.

I don't want to downplay how bad Enzo probably was, but JBL forgot to clarify that eating chicken in the lockerroom (without even making any mess of sorts) could get you kicked out permanently, so following his words, it is very unclear why Enzo could have had heat...
Also, I remember the Miz really pouring on him during a promo. It felt like one of those promos where the veteran really tried to make the other understand something.
Like how Cena bodyied Roman on the mic for being unable to cut a promo and see to where that eventually led.

That promo of Miz's was straight facts. Miz was basically speaking to his younger self with the problems he had and how the locker room hated him.
Difference is Miz learnt from that and improved himself as a human being, Enzo did not and still blames everyone else.

i feel the difference between miz and enzo being kicked out of the locker room was that miz came from reality tv and the other wrestlers werent really giving him a chance where as enzo was just a straight up dickhead because if you remember when miz spoke in an interview about him being kicked out he wasnt making a mess but another wrestler said he was so it paints a picture of them just not liking that he was a reality star previously and that he came in through another reality show tough enough
Its criminal that teams like Enzo n Cass or Cryme Tyme have never held WWE tag team gold.
Those 2 Tag Teams would have been a Dominant Tag Team Champions.
Cryme Tyme were so damn underrated I legit loved watching them wrestle.
Came in red hot. Made an impact right out of the gate. Had a moment with John Cena. Then it just all fell apart. Overnight they went from "Catchphrase Gold" to Fuhgedabouttit.

Honestly I stopped watching wrestling around 2001/2002, but I do remember hearing about these guys, and this video has kind of made me want to check out their early appearances on the main show.
Also, as somebody who deals with people with mental health problems on a daily basis, its really inspiring to hear Big Cass talking as openly and as bluntly as he did about all of his struggles. Glad that hes turned them around, and is doing much better now

My two cents here.
The person that had most things going in that grouping was...Carmella...
She never bothered anyone, she was always improving in the ring, she was always improving in the mike and she also was -and still is- extremely good looking. She might be overshadowed by the present abundance of women that manage to be extremely good wrestlers, extremely good talkers and extremely good looking at the same time but she is great.
To the other two now...
Teaming them up was an excellent decision. Big Cass could not talk and was below average in the ring but he had a good presence and physique. Enzo, to put it bluntly, was not a wrestler in terms of skill and physique but he had charisma and was easily one of the best talkers in WWE. The presence and aura of Cass combined with the charisma and mic skills of Enzo masked most of their shortcomings and they were good as a team. When they separated though...
It became obvious that Enzo was no wrestler. I mean, he was probably one of the worst wrestlers in the roster in terms of technical ability. He could not do most basic wrestling moves, he was extremely clumsy taking bumps and his stamina wasn't anything to write home either. He just couldn't do anything in the ring. The only role he could ever have would be being someone's mouthpiece but WWE was not interested in going that way after the team split. It is normal that he flopped and that he left wrestling. He just didn't have the skills for it.
Cass was a different story. The man is a pro-wrestler at least. A limited pro-wrestler but a pro-wrestler nevetheless. He deserves to be in the business and it is good he recovered from what he was suffering. Whether WWE will ever want him back or be able to do anything with him is a different story.
Do not know if someone said something about the Shark Cage on 09:25 , but was a form of “punishment” for him. Apparently the personality we saw on tv was actually his OWN personality and he was a pain in the ass. As a form of chastisement, they put him on a shark cage and elevated because he is afraid of heights

Enzo became such a problem that they had Miz dress him down on live television in the ring; it easily one of the best promos Mike has ever done in his career and the man is passionate and golden on the mic. I could literally feel the anger and disappointment he felt towards Enzo and it was well deserved
And Enzo had no zingers like he normally did and just sat there and took it
On the mic I would put Enzo up there with some of the greats... His in ring ability was par at best... Just my opinion though...
Enzo got told by The Miz how he was an outsider, and nobody liked him on a Raw episode
The Miz, who was despised, kicked out of the locker by Benoit. Chided on commentary by JBL. The Miz was downright classically trained in comparison to Enzo. He actually took it seriously, and is now a Hall of Famer.
Can you imagine Enzo in WWE with Benoit, JBL, and Holly?

Big Bill is truly a story of triumph over his demon with the bottle and after seeing his work in AEW I hope we see him again in WWE as a monster big man heel champion one day. As far as Enzo Amore/Real 1/whatever the hell you want to call him goes he's nothing more than a worthless headache that I wouldn't wish on anyone and I pray that he goes away forever.

You completely skipped over Cass's time in TNA. If it wasn't for them taking a chance on him and Tony Khlown being desperate to find somebody to job to Wardlow after Karrion Kross turned it down Cass wouldn't be in AEW.
Also Big Bill was better in TNA. Watch his shoot interview. He can cut great promos if allowed to.

You have 2 complete opposites, who became friends, tag partners and Love eack other. That could lead to so many possibilities in a drama as well.
Two who start from the bottom fight through many hardships and finally breakthrough, only for one of them to ruin it for the other, or many other possibilities.

This is a great video. Only input i have is that Cass was being pushed to the moon and had the backing of the higher ups. Enzo had to rely on his personality and outrageousness to get over. He sure as hell didnt use it correctly and became a mark for himself, but it makes sense that hes a fighter for his gimmick

I think missed seeing Enzo hit the ropes or I just didn’t know how bad that ropes can hurt him going through it in that position, but eventually I understood it was bbaaaaaaaaaaaaaadddddd.

I gotta say, I had sat out of wrestling for a long time since the Attitude era and was a huge fan of those wrestlers. Wandering back around 2015/16 I started watching again and was having a hard time finding any new stars to latch on to and then I saw Enzo and Cass! WOW! I was immediately impressed and thought they were hilarious. I think it was right before Enzo suffered his injury because all of a sudden, they weren't being shown any more. I drifted away again, as there were no other Wrestlers at the time that captured my interest, and just recently I've come back and man what a shock to learn of this terrible downfall for that team. I did catch 'Big Bill' on an AEW show and was like wow, that's Big Cass and he's paired up with Jericho, pretty cool. Now after seeing this, I'm a big fan of Big Bill/Cass and I'm so happy to see he's turned his life around and I hope he continues to succeed! As for Enzo, terribly disappointed and it's really tragic that he's wasted so much potential. Great video!

at raw 25, during their press conference, instead of answering questions about the show. they had to answer questions about enzo's rape investigation. THEY FOUND AT AT THE PRESS CONFERENCE!!!
Yeah when someone is a public figure like that the ones paying them would like to know if your being investigated for R... That isn't something to take lightly.
Hell for all we know if he would have just went straight to them WWE probably would have used their lawyers to investigate it or represent him if needed until everything was either cleared or confirmed.
It's been said that Vince always wanted guys to tell him these things in advance so he can beat the press and get guys off of TV before the media storm happens.

They were OVER on the main roster until Vince split them, put Enzo in the Cruiserweight division and then the championship on him thus his MASSIVE ego grew out of control.
Cass didn't work as a singles competitor. Enzo complimented him because Cass couldn't cut a promo.
As for Carmella, shes wasnt ready to be called up.
