I have a couple videos on doing euros maceration method. One of a bison one of a caribou and will soon be putting out a moose whitetail and wolf video. Love how your deer turned out!
Great video I'm about to try it on an 8 point I killed with my bow a month ago that I have frozen in my freezer, gonna boil the head a little longer to unthaw it. Only problem I have run into so far is finding 12 percent developer I found 10 percent I hope it will work the same. Thanks for sharing your technique on how to do it!
First off thanks for your service! Here is a helpful tip that is totally up to you todo, try removing the ear canals. There is some membrane that gets trapped behind there. again just a little tip. Great video though! Hope all is well!
Hey man I know you are plenty experienced doing euro's but i just to throw this out there. When you get a chance Try using 1 cup of oxyclean powder laundry detergent and 1 cup of Sodium Carbonate (soda ash). You can order the soda ash cheap off of amazon or ebay and of coarse grab oxyclean at the store. The soda ash breaks down the meat amazingly and the oxyclean kick starts the whitening process and degreases. Works slick as can be!!! only thing I do different than you was i skinned the hide off the head.
very nice I never seen that done with the hide on,how big is the spread on that buck 18 or 19,Thank You for your service to our country and Welcome Home,I see you must have served in the big red one, thanks for sharing your videos.
Hey what size power washer do you use? Im using a 1600 PSI electric one because I thought my gas one was gonna be to much and blow thru the skull. So i bought a small one just for deer heads. Also try to wipe on some ( mop n glo ) on the skulls once they are whitened, it will give them a shine and protect them and also make it easy to wipe off dust.
I'm not sure what size the washer is for sure but it is a gas powered one. Thats a great idea with the mop n glo as well! I'll deff have to try that out and see how it works! Thanks for watching and giving me some advice! Really appreciate that!
Worst euro mount how to ive ever seen. Just wow. You made a point of doing them asap to avoid bone staining from meat. But when you boil with the skin and eyes still on you are boiling meat and fat into the bone. You wont remove that with your whitening method. ALWAYS skin and remove eyes and ALWAYS wrap the antler bases multiple times with saran wrap and electrical tape. Add oxiclean to the water to degrease the skull of fat and oils. Remove the ear butts as well or else youll miss cartilage and it will stain the skull later on. Then simmer in a 50/50 mix of water and 40% peroxide for 20 minutes. That will remove oils and cartilage you missed, you always miss some and this method you missed alot. Thats the proper way of doing a euro mount. Ive done thousands and tried many methods and this is the perfected one.
For the simmering method I agree this is how to do it. Whitebone creations follows the same method. Should not use any bleach on a skull. The one on the video though looks like it did turn out good though
Just wanted to say thank you for sharing this technique, it worked awesome for me and hands down was the fastest and easiest way to strip a skull for!
Caldwell Camo Chronicles thanks a tun man! I'm glad it worked out for you and thanks for watching!
You did a great job explaining everything. I never did a skull but I have one I will be trying today! Thanks
Well I did it your way and it's way easier. I did 7 deer and the first 5 like you do and the last 2 cutting all the fur off. Your way is nicer
That’s pretty impressive.
Great job. Looks awesome!!!

lol your killing me with the meat hanging off the face...great how to video.. hunting isn't easy or clean..
Haha thanks! Nothing about this job is clean lol
Can you use a garden hose instead of a power washer
nope, you need the pressure
No, because you need the pressure to cut through the skin and hide.
I do all mine with a water hose with the nozzle on jet . I put it on before bed let it cook not boil til morning ..blows rite out brains and all
What psi and angle nosle on the power washer
I have no clue.. sorry lol
Skin that thing first and it will save you a lot of time
Okay.... did i miss the pickle juice?
He said pickling salt, not pickle juice LoL
Rain gear
eye protection with chemicals
What branch in the military did you serve in?

If you already have the method perfected, why are you watching How-To videos on the subject? 👀
