She recommends bringing it into the garage in the winter and letting it die back - I have no idea why she would recommend this - bring it inside your house in the winter and you can enjoy the foliage all winter long and then in the early spring you will have wonderful blooms. Mine is in bloom right now indoors and I have 3 large flower clusters on both my plants.
My clivias are always sick. Either snails or worms or something is eating them. It use to be super beautiful but I think I will give them away now.😢😢
You can buy a systemic insecticide and water them with this solution - just follow the instructions on the product you buy. Try to get an organic one if you can. The plant takes up this solution and as soon as the worms hatch, and try to munch of your clivias, they will die.
If it's in water it won't rot out the leaf's get long and thin
