Hi. I've been growing out my hair for over a year now and I decided to get a haircut soon. I want to get the curtains haristyle for sure. I have a middle parting in my hair, but my hair goes down to my shoulders at the back, on sides bellow my ears and on top bellow my mouth. What should I ask for?
I have somewhat of this haircut but my sides are long enough to cover my ear, and the back is the same. I’m thinking about going to get it trimmed down to what you have but I’m not sure because my hair is very thin and has a hard time staying up in the front/middle sometimes. Idk if I should just keep it longer on sides and back so it’s would blend like it is right now, or just go for what you have and try to see if my hair will cooperate. I’m torn
mmm that's a tricky one, I would recommend blow drying it straight so the hair is tight and will stay straight. Hair straighteners also will do the job, you can actually train your hair to go to the style you want and that is what you will have to do, products may also be feasible however may look greasy. I would ask your barber also if they can do anything to help. But straighteners and hair dry to train your hair :)
I've got wavy hair and the length is about the same as yours rn but it looks weird. Should I grow it out more because the waves tend to shorten the length?
Do the shaved undercut it is a perfect compliment to the curtains! I did that for a really long time it's really nice to have short and long hair at the same time.
You can also pick how much you want to shave by a numbering system if you don't want it to be really short. I just tell them a bigger number like three to keep it longer.

Could always risk it, if not it will grow back. You could straighten your hair if it doesn’t work but that’s a lot of effort 😂
